Aliens are supposed to copy organic parts of their hosts or something. The problem with AVP:R was the Predalien getting the dreads because they're apparently not organic. Same could be said about Baraka's Blade.

I know finding logic in this situation is tough, but:

The facehugger sorta works like this:

1) Latch onto face, using more mild compound of acid to for it to "adhere" to the face.
2) The tail of the facehugger whips around the throat of the victim and strangles it, force the mouth open
3) Oral sex...er, impregnation begins when ovipositor tube is fed down throat of strangle victim. The oxygen comes in through the ovipositor itself to prevent suffocation

Also - Mortal Kombat.

I'd like to see how they explain away the acid blood. One punch, considering how much blood spews out of punches in MK, spells the death of the attacking character.

I envision the continuous threat of acid blood, which forms ongoing chip damage that can be avoided by pressing the block command once directly after a combo or hit. If they make non-acidic blood, I will boycott the Xenomorph.

D'Vorah didn't implant it into Baraka. She was about to kill Baraka as she did in story mode...that bit in the trailer was a "what if" scenario based on the moment in the story mode when she kills him. Instead, she's startled by Baraka coughing up blood, and then subsequently horrified when the alien bursts out of him.

Considering the facehugger chokes its victims to open them up....

Better yet, is Dvorah working for the xenomorphs?

Considering her reaction to Baraka's death I'd say no.
