MK Trilogy blows.

Well when that came out 9 or 10 years ago, i was soo happy to see all the boys in it, i didnt really understand the the concept of why Midway was releasing Mprtal Kombat games like i do now but i loved that game then and i still havent found it anywhere in my travels since then, the idea of another one coming out is really great, it would certainly stop alot of complaining from everyone in some sort of way. Which characters could be in it, what kindof fatalities, and mabey they could throw in a few small surpirses. WHo knows

First of all the guy that said Trilogy blows..you blow man,secondTrilogy was the real deal guys!!Probably my favorite MK game,MK:Trilogy and UMK3 i played to death,even now i still play my Trilogy and Midway Arcade Treasures...........too!!!!!!!!
I don't know about you guys but i really hope that they make UMK3 or MK Trilogy online!!!!!!!!!!!!
Because if it does,Everyone will hate me in that game!!!!!There is no game that i used to play more in my life thatn that game!!!!!!!!!!My arsenal consisted of 19-21 characters out of 26-32 depending on which version,but i have it for the N64!!!!! ITs great!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unless they do a different type of retro re release package, I don't see MKT making it on a Midway Arcade Treasures compilation. The clue's in the second word, Arcade. MKT was never in the arcades. We're far more likely to see UMK3 and maybe MK4 though.

yeah doesn't make much sense to put a console only game on a game titles midway ARCADE treasures.

As for trilogy blowing or not well it was decent but it wasn't serious. It was very very broken and UMK 3 was better overall. The stupidest and easiest infinites I've seen on a fighter up till the release of deception.

Well, yeah. That makes a lot of sense. Arcade Treasures is to rediscover the past of the best arcade days, not to apply home theater sources.

Releasing a home version exclusively for the X-Box, PS2 and Game Cube is what many would love to see.

I want to see:
-Properly animated title screen- real background flames rather than the half-assed crappy wallpaper that tricked many of us
-Guaranteed Arcade-perfect- no loading at all, fast gameplay, even better/smoother graphics with the latest graphics card technology
-All victory themes
-Classic characters at the scene
-Chameleon by pressing select on any of the ninjas
-Khameleon by pressing select on any of the ninja gals
-4 more classics- Johnny Cage (MK1), Sonya, Shang Tsung (MK2) and Liu Kang (MK1)
-Hidden classic Shao Kahn- press select on him to use MK2 version
-45-minute complete footage of the Making of Mortal Kombat 3
-10-minute special of Dan Forden
-5-minute promotional video of MK2KungBroken and the other's UMK3/MKT combo videos with a cool soundtrack- those vids fucking rock
-An extra minute in the promo video to credit the kombo players
-Lots more kodes in Secrets, including all from MK3 Snes (Fast uppercut, dark kombat, extra fatality time, etc)
-Blue MK2 Portal stage
-All stages and music from MK1except Warrior Shrine
-Fergality inputed
-Movelist at the pause menu
-At pause menu, option to Resume game, view movelist of your character or Exit
-Powerbar selection- Choose MK1, MK2 or MK3 styles. That applies with the timer. The run bar stays the same, ofcourse. This is enabled after beating the game
-Picture gallery of many classic Mortal Kombat sources, especially a lot of pics that weren't seen in the MK3 video
-Save/ automatic load option
-Online feature for all three consoles

They could not include MK1 Liu, Johnny or Sonya, or MK2 Shang, Kitana/Mileena before, and they wouldn't be able to do it now. Those classics didn't make MKT becuase they were played by different actors, most of who left Midway on bad terms. This is why in MKT we only got "classic" versions of Kano, Kung Lao, Raiden and Jax, and why Johnny Cage was the only real updated character (as in not recycling old sprites).

Yeah, I'm aware of that. But the Midway design team should be like "oh, heck. Put them in". But that might cause legal action against them.
Oh well, forget the additional 4 classics I mention. Maybe that was the reason they didn't input the Warrior Shrine as it contained Liu Kang, Cage and Sonya. I wonder if Sonya is in Kahn's Arena. I'll check later on.

a mk game that included everything would be nice. The best bits of everygame from MK1-MKD

about that Johnny cage and the new sprite..... the actor who did cage in mk1 and mk2 was fired because he was working for another company wich was using cage's sprite... get it??

I would love to see UMK3 or Trilogy online in the future ,i don't care if its part of a MA Treasures package or not..........just as long as they make it online.....i can guarantee that very few people in the world has played UMK3 or Trilogy more than me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

UMK3 has got to be my favorite MK game so far!!!!!!!!!

I use 21 characters in UMK3/MK trilogy.

To make MK Trilogy online more interesting, users who quit a connection without playing through a 10-minute period gets a 3-day suspension on their account.
Why? I hate it when I connect with someone, whoop their ass in a game then they quit. It gets annoying to start a game and it finishes on you by the blink of an eye. MK Trilogy should have a chilling quote before connecting onine, like "Quit and you'll be toast!" or "Quit and you'll be destroyed".

So keeping a 10-minute period rule for online playing will be very convenient and fun for all. Uhh...if someone had to go just as they connected...hmm...maybe this 10-minute period wouldn't work very well. Hehe.
