I respect that you want to main him but... couldn't have this been said in one of the thousands of threads about Jax already out there if you just wanted to say the same all of his other fans are saying in those threads?

I'm one of those people who don't like Jax, but the reason why I don't like Jax is that nothing has really been done with his character since his debut. He has no overarching struggle or contention to his character that makes him stand out.

Just give him some new and interesting character arc and everyone will like him more.

He's always been among my least favorite. Sure, he has some cool arms, but otherwise he has zero personality and to me is an extremely boring character.

Jaqui on the other hand has some potential.

Eh. Maybe you're right. Maybe Mick should merge this. And a couple of those other Jax threads, too.

I dont understand why you would say hate. Jax is one of the most popular characters and he has been in pretty much every MK.

He gets hated on big time on this forum. I'm not really sure how casuals feel about him but among the hardcore fanbase like here on this forum he gets a ton of hate. Maybe more than any other Trilogy character, it seems.

She's a just an average Kickboxer. At least Jax had the arms to set himself apart, what does Jacqui have?

The "human" characters are not hated because of their lack of story like many claim, but because they're just that: human.

Many highly popular characters have had little story progression, like Reptile, Baraka and Ermac. That's why I find it absolutely hypocritical when haters state otherwise.

Count me in as a Jax ass-kicker.
