i think that wuld be cool b-cuz it is really stupid wen u have 2 pick a voice cuz it always sounds wack. so the next mk shuld allow u 2 make ure own voice and 2 dis u wuld do a sample in da mic and there wuld be a certain option to dat in kreate a kombatant and it wuld save.

Reasons Why this won't work:

1) You make a big guy and you sound like a sissy.

3) You make a chick and you're a guy (vise versa).

4) You make a monster/demon and he has the voice of a human.

5) Mic's sounds don't sound as good as sounds in game.

And in case the Game is Online:

6) People will say Stupid/Racial/Immature/Silly/Insulting comments for their character and when they play online they will be insulting a lot of people.

I can probably go on, but there really is no point.

I wouldn't mind it if MK7 came with premade sounds that you could string together to form the word for your characters name. "Ma" "Lee" "Na" for example. Sure it wouldn't sound as good as good, but maybe you could speed up syllables or slow them down. As for using voices for in game text or grunts/screams etc, I say just have a stock list of voices for that. MK has enough voices to go around. Keep the text as text and don't put words to it.

I'd rather see the MK team spend time on making custom items like backgrounds for kreated kombatants bio and conclusion that you can write the text in for underneath, giving your character a story. I'd also like to see a set of stock animations for the versus screen after the two combatants have been selected. Kinda like the first Killer Instinct in arcades.

Above all of that icing though, I want to be able to select the race, facial features, eye color, hair style, hats, tattoos, armbands/wristbands, shoulder accessories, clothing color, clothing style, insignias/symbols for clothing, belts, pants style, shirt style, shoe/boot style, and the ability to select two hand to hand styles and a weapon from styles ranging from MK:DA, MK:D, MK7 as well as other styles that come premade just for kreate a kombatant as well as special moves from the entire series (or alot of them anyways) as well as a TON of special moves made up just for kreate a kharacters. I'd want all of this stuff to be unlockable in the various modes of the game through kurrency earned in matches (both online that can be wagered and offline against friends or the computer) which will unlock this stuff in the krypt as well as items you find by accomplishing certain tasks such as getting a certain number of wins in any mode, beating the game with certain characters, finding hidden characters, getting a certain number of wins in survival mode (which this game desperately needs), getting a good time attack mode time, using a certain amount of fatalities etc etc etc. The opportunities are endless.

I know that alot of this stuff probably won't happen, but I believe that kreate a kharacter should be the big extra mode in MK7. Other fighting games have been flirting with the idea, adding color changes and dinky items like wrist bands to characters that already exist. I think that MK7 should really put itself out there on this mode and take it to the next level of customization as only MK can. Forget Test your Might and MK Puzzle Fighter. A kreate a kharacter mode would allow Mk fans to use their creativity, as well as keep gamers interested and playing the other modes for months and months after the game is released.

That's my ten cents.
