In that whole pile of rubbish that one would call your opinions, I managed to take some good points from it, actually.

It's true, Kobra was a disappointing and cheap filler, I dislike Ashrah for personal reasons (Ermac's enemies), and Darrius was a cheap stand-in for Jax, who happens to be a personal favorite. But going as far as to say Darrius was the worst character in MK history, that's one hell of an insult, and there are MUCH better candidates (Stryker, Reiko, Jarek, Nitara) so you might want to re-think that. And yeah, they've gotten fond of recycling MK:DA moves, like Shujinko having Kung Lao's fighting styles, Sub-Zero keeping the same styles, etc. Mileena was a very nice come back, as was Sindel, and Li Mei also.

As for my favorite comeback character? Take a guess.

How can you tell that they are fillers if a sequel isn't out yet? At least one or two fillers are needed. iot's not tekken or Virtua Fighter where the crew remains constantly the same, in MK they have a high probability dying. At least some characters like Hsu hao were bridges ad their deaths were for a reason.

I think Darrius, Hotaru, Dairou are good concepts but need a serious rewamp. Lightyears better than MK4 characters like Reiko, Tanya, Jarek.

I think that Tanya is ok but I think they didn't use her potential very well. I would like to know why she betrayed Edenia and her fued with Jade will hopefully expand. I also didn't like Shujinko. I think the fact that the tedious konquest and the majority of the game was kind of irritating. God I hope certain characters like Kung Lao, Mileena, Sonya, Kitana, Nitara, and Sarreena.

well i dont think any chars from MKDA and MKD were "fillers".

Mavado and Nitara imo were awsome in MKDA and unique in MK. vampires arent original, but she is the only one we have had in MK so far. and well is any body even that close to being like Mavado? his personality as a major badass is just awsome. sure theres other chars that act all big and bad like Sektor for example, but Mavado does it in a different way.

as for Frost in MKDA not original nor had a big part in the story of MKDA besides freezing herself. if any one is a "filler" char in MKDA its her (and well Mokap is i guess. not Blaze tho cuz he has a story line).

as for the rest, Bo' Rai Cho, Li Mei, Hsu Hao, Drahmin, and Kenshi i dont really like any of them but they wearnt filler characters id say. maybe Hsu Hao and Drahmin maybe a 1 hit wonder for now. but eventually they should return.

now as for MKD chars....

Darrius i find to be the best new char in MKD. i dont see y ppl compare him to Jax since they have NOTHING in comon besides they're both black. o yea cuz Darrius is in the game and Jax isnt Darrius must be replacing Jax as the black guy in the game. cmon get real ppl. they r nothing alike in any way. and Darrius is pretty damn kool gameplay wise. just a blast to play with. now i admit that when i first got the game i didnt play with him at all cuz b4 MKD was out i made up my mind that i didnt like him. well when i couldnt beat Onaga with any one first time playing the game i eventually tried to with Darrius and found out Darrius is pretty kick ass. i think u guys should play with Darrius some more and try learning him b4 pasting judgment on him. he certainly isnt a filler char and probably the best developed new character in the game.

Ashrah i actually thought id hate too, but ended up really likeing her gameplay wise also. if she wasnt so good gameplay wise with sweet combos i would probably hate her.... but she isnt a filler.

Hotaru..... wow.... Hotaru......imo he does suck. i wont ever understand how ppl like him a lot. filler character? i think not! probably had the best part in the story of MKD. sure he is from Seido but he wasnt really involved in the who Order and Chaos realm crap really. he was more in the main story line with Onaga. after all he is Onaga's right hand man in MKD.

Dairou's story ties into Darrius's. they become allies. but really his story isnt original. he isnt a filler tho. but his story is pretty much crap. has potential to become much better in the future. i see a lot of conflict involving Dairou in the future.

Havic is really not a filler for sure. he is a total crap character in MKD tho gameplay wise, but story wise he has a great story that hails back to MK3. story wise he is good since he ties into Kabal's story. Havic will probably never have a dull story line in any MK he is in in the future. he already has such a great start story wise. as long as they keep his story interesting with twist then his story will be continue to be good. gameplay wise tho..... hopefully in the future he wont be crap. i dont see how they can make him so good tho that ill like him in the future. even say he would be the best gameplay wise in MK7 if he ends up in it, i probably wont like him. first impressions r crucial for me.

Kobra was a dissapointment for me personally. unlike Havic, he is actually real good gameplay wise (Havic i was looking forward to also but dissapointment with his suckness). the thing that dissapoints me about Kobra in MKD is his story and punk ass kid personality. still he is a very good character gameplay wise. if he isnt in MK7 i doubt he will miss out on MK8 cuz he has established a good fan base. he aint no filler.

Kira i dont think is a filler character. more of a rush job since she has only 1 move of her own.... good story line and every thing. she isnt that good tho in MKD but if she was in MKDA as she is in MKD that would be a different story. well she has a ton of potential for the future. i hope to see her in MK7. i dont find her to be a filler character, but just a rush job in MKD.

Shujinko.... o boy.... he is pretty much like a filler. only thing from keeping him being a real filler imo is that he plays such a big part in the story of MKD. if it wasnt for that and he has the moves he has, yea he would be a filler. but really how could they not have him as a playable char for aracde mode? i mean if u just got to play with him in Konquest only that would be dumb....

so yeah i dont think any of them r fillers. Repitle in MK1 was a filler. Smoke, Jade, and Noob Saibot in MK2 were fillers. Smoke in MK3 is kind of a filler. in MK4 Meat and Noob Saibot a filler. in MKDA Mokap a filler/joke. MKD no fillers.

usually its the secret chars that r the fillers. Blaze in MKDA i wouldnt say is a filler. just a rush job. i believe Noob in MK4 is more of a filler than a rush job.

anyways any "fillers" in MK7? well if that means secret chars then sure bring the "fillers".

I would love an MK game with no filler characters, but it's hard to see that happening. Since MKT, they have usually included at least one character (usually a villain's henchman) who's main purpose seems to be an easy gyu to kill off. Guys like Rain, Jarek, Reiko, Hsu Hao and most likely for MKD, Dairou and Kobra.

Plus there's characters who are introduced and don't really go anywhere, either due to limited storylines, negative fan response or both. This was a big problem with a lot of MKD's newcomers. Only Havik and Kira show any signs of being able to develop, although I think Ashrah will be back since enough people like her (why? she's dull!).

I like Hotaru and Darrius, but everything about them says "one hit wonder", like Jarek and Hsu Hao before them (two more fillers I liked). Kobra is MK's worst character, they can't have spent more than 3 minutes "creating" this generic Ken wannabe. Even Mokap's more worthy than this loser.
