Maybe Smoke looked the same in MK9, did he ? They have to add more PIT fatalities, this was major mistake they did like they excluded uppercuts from MKV! Also level transition are trademark and now they're cut off and given to Injustice and took the SHITTY level interaction from there and replaced it with the cool one like MKV acid bath for instance!

I think definately he is refering to Kombat Pack 2. I do not think he would be able to able to hint if there were other characters until the relavant approval from the marketing team.

My mind would be blown if he said they would be a KP3 without guest characters coming also in 2016. Or possibly even more than one classic stage that would be really awesome.

2 is the last Kombat pack and will feature just one arena. Stop deceiving ourselves.

Our only small hope, right now, is that Ed and his team will release Fujin and Sareena/Li Mei as standalone characters like Zatanna and Martian Manhunter for Injustice.
But again, that's more a wishful thinking.

Just add Sareena and Fujin and I'll be the happiest man on Earth.

I think he is just referring to KP2.

I don't think this tweet is pointing at anything other than KP2. With that being said, I do believe they're testing the waters with a Killer Instinct like dlc structure, and don't think a KP3 before their inevitable Injustice sequel is that far fetched.

yeah, don't get too excited. KP2 is all that's planned for the forseeable future.

This. If (and it's a big if) we do get anything after KP2 is finished, it'll probably be something relatively small like a special costume pack or something. I can't see them releasing any characters after KP2.
