kintaro petition all of us can make the diffrence, kintaro fans nows the time to speak your mind
ok how can we make a partition and send it to midway, maybe the mod's can help? this is how i see it, kintaro was skipped in the 2nd film he was not in MK3 not in MK3ult or MK 4 not even MK 5. We hoped to see a piece of him in konquest mode and it was for 2 sec. kintaro has been ignored since mk 2 and thats the facts most of us want to see him again but im afraid this will not happen without all of us demanding his return. Boon said himself he did not like kintaro ..... well boon were buying and he better be in mk 7 who here agrees?
Im gonna have to say yes I agree with you. He deserves just as much as Goro or more to make a comeback. He struck fear into the hearts of many as a Sub-Boss on MK2 and MKT with his furious attacks such as his four stomps and his fireball spit. He is also one of my favorite MK characters ever.

yeah he should b-cuz he was better than goro and if he never taunted he would be better than matoro. so he should be in mk7.

Like Midway would care.

Kintaro might be still alive. There is a bio saying Raiden vaporised him, but I've heard people say that was written by the movie company rather than Midway. I don't know for sure.
I'd love to see Kintaro back, I thought he was the best sub boss, and the hardest to beat. But I think Boon himself said that he didn't like this guy very much. Something about how Kintaro not turning out how they wanted (a weretiger, which was impossible with their digitised graphics at the time), so he said they just kinda rushed him, and he's never been happy about it. This would also explain why poor Kintaro is one of MK's least developed characters. Such a shame to waste a great character, they could really build him up, and he was, imo, far better than Motaro, Moloch, Shinnok or Onaga, all big letdowns as bosses.

well kintaro is pretty easy to beat. i beat him without him beatin me with baraka. matoro is actually harder than him b-cuz projectiles dont affect him, he can teleport, and he doesn't fall to the ground which makes matoro a harder sub boss.

About Me
There are three rules for doing scientific research. Unfortunately, no one knows what they are.

The word you wanted to use is petition, not partition. You might want to change the title, Joyoza.

I agree KIntaro should be put back into the games everyone I know's favorite M.K. character is Kintaro if they put him back and made him playable more people would buy the games.

You don't have to resurrect Kintaro because he was never confirmed to be dead.
Anyway, I'd love to see Kintaro back, hopefully as a playable character. Frankly I think he should've been brought back and not Goro.
I'd like to see him come back with a story like this:
For hundreds of years, the Prince Goro was the greatest Shokan warrior. It was the mighty Goro who defeated Earth's champion in Mortal Kombat and it would be Goro who would lead the armies of Outworld to battle. And the Shokan warrior Kintaro was always seen as second best.
However, this all came to an end when Goro was defeated and thought to have been killed by Liu Kang. When word spread that the emperor was seeking a replacement for Goro to represent Outworld in a new tournament, Kintaro eagerly stepped foward. Outwardly, Kintaro sought to avenge Goro and restore the Shokan honor. Secretly, he wished to prove that he was the greatest Shokan and that he, not Goro, should have been general of Outworld's armies.
This never came to pass however. Shao Kahn's tournament was merely a ruse to distract the Earth warriors and Earth's defender Raiden. In truth, it would be the Centaur Motaro who would lead Outworld to battle, and Kintaro was just a pawn. After Shao Kahn's invasion was defeated, an infuriated Kintaro intended to murdered Motaro, believing this act would restore Shokan honor and prove he was the best. Unfortunatly, the Shokan woman Sheeva had beaten him to it during an attempt to assassinate Shao Kahn and Goro himself had returned and later agreed to sign a treaty with the Centaurs and Princess Kitana.
Apalled that the Shokan would agree to peace, Kintaro abandoned the Kuatan lands and wandered aimlessly. Until he was found by the Dragon King. The Dragon King offered Kintaro a place in his army where he'd be at last able to prove his worth. Kintaro gladly accepted the Dragon King's offer and now stands ready to finally step out of Goro's shadow and prove that he is the strongest Shokan of them all.
Then when he finds out Goro is still alive and working for Shao Kahn again......hilarity will surely ensue....

Hell yeah definitely bring back Kintaro! best subboss-boss ever.. but I would rather have him playable than a boss. maybe a secret character you have to unlock to play as. Kintaro Rulz.
Why not have all 4 of them back? Moloch, Goro, Kintaro, Motaro.
You would fight either of them at random, so one time you'd fight Motaro, but then the next time you play you fight Kintaro. Then Moloch, then Goro, and then all over again.
That way nobody loses and we all get who we want. Also they would be unlockable and kinda give them that MK:D Goro feeling back (only while you're playing as him, not while you're fighting him in Arcade) where they actually fall down and they're fast and have fatalities and combos and such.
Hell, I'd be happy after that has been done.

IF he's going to come back, than make him unique.
Sorry, but MK2 Kintaro did not bear any shock value like Goro. He was just there, looking more bulkier, plated, and having warpainted stripes over his body. Make hinm more unique, becouse:
-he is the most underdeveloped character
-no story extension, nor worth
-only lessened Goro's value having another -almost exactly same- shokan.
and I could bring up countless more reasons, but thats not the point. I dislike Kintaro, and I would rather have something new instead of sho-kans (let's not succumb to the level of other fighters with having the exactly same characters reused and recycled in almost every sequel), and Moloch was the best try yet IMO.
but if he should come back, than there is a very nasty lpot i devised: Goro indeed died at the ands of Noob Saibot, and instead of him, the mortally wounded Kintaro was found by Kahn. To raise the shokans to his side, and give morale to his troops, Kintaro acts as Goro, and serves as a diver-sion for everyone to further complicate matters and to shatter the armies of Kitana. (requirements, his stripes should be war paint, not "fur"!!!)
