Yeah, the intro dialogues are going to stretch the storyline whenever allies fight. Like, I'm sure Kitana and Cassie like each other just fine in story mode.

She is just fucked up after the whole Quan Chi and Jade ordeals. I like her this way, she reminds me of Kitana I grew up with, not the princess-in-distress one she was portrayed in last couple of games.
