Kombat pack will be available at release?
Did everyone miss this tweet yesterday?
“@ethanelt4: @noobde Will the Kombat pack be available to download as soon as the game is released? EB: Yes it will."
I really don't get this. Does Ed mean the skins or the entire pack including the characters?

I think hes saying that if the KP is like a season pass, you will probably get the first character or skin on release day and then the rest later down the road. Or hes saying you can buy it on release day and its not some preorder times exclusive.
Perhaps, i dunno.

The entire pack, they've said it quite a few times now. The entire pack will be available for purchase on release day on PSN & XBL. The first bit of the pack (some costumes) will be Day One and the characters will follow later, presumably June/July.
About Me
Sex is Evil, Evil is Sin, Sin is forgiven, so Sex is in.
I kill people for a living. Get over it.

Tweet really makes it seem like they could have just put them on the Disc but GREED consumed them.
I personally think it will be Spawn & Predator to help boost sales.
The 2 Classic Characters will come later
Shao Kahn & Shang Tsung and the 15 Skins

The way he responded was confusing, but it's essentially a Season Pass. You're likely going to get 1 skin pack and possibly a character upon release(less likely on the character), and the rest will come over the next 3-4 months.
Django tweeted Tacos about it:

Thanks. Yeah, he didn't really clarify what he meant but I suspected this to be the case. mods can feel free to close this thread now

Yeah I think its pretty straight forward, meaning once you grab your copy and pop the disc, you can get online and purchase the Kombat pack right on PSN or w.e Xbox has the day its released.

Im probably gonna buy it , same thing as the last mk .
It is a Season Pass which means you pay an up front fee to buy content down the line cheaper altogether.
Why is this so difficult to comprehend? The name? They should have called it a Season Pass if so.
In the KombatKast they said they have not finished the DLC characters if I recall correctly.

Ed's tweet was confusing. Luckily Tacos is a bit better at being clear. Looks like a few skins and stuff will be available at release but the rest will come later.

Same as the last two games. Buy pass, wait for content.
