Talk about the subject. Damn, it's actually worthy of note that Mileena's eyes are actually an important aspect about her because she used them in the old canon to look a lot like Kitana. MK9 had her with Tarkatan eyes and the OP was just curious if the eyes were changed up to look more like normal eyes down the line to fool everyone once again.

Actually, while seeming mostly normal in Deception and Armageddon, her eyes temporarilly became yellow like Baraka's in her mid-round pose when she would get up from losing and growl. So even before MK9 she had the ability to change eye color at will.
