I think that MK7 should have an intro where Shujinko kills the Dragon king in a long and ferocious battle which is being watched by a mysterious being. Then Shujinko should turn up at the nexus to transport him back to Earth and in the nexus he should be faced by Raiden who electrocutes him to death for allowing Onaga to gain control of the Kamidogu. Then Shao Khan should suddenly emerge from a portal from the netherrealm and kill Raiden with his sledge hammer. Then Shinnock and Tanya should emerge behind Shao Khan laughing, having raised Shao khan's soul from hell and possessing complete control over his soul. Having been killed in the nexus, Raiden leaves the portal to Earth open, allowing Khan and Shinnock and his minions to enter earth and conquer it once and for all.

The earth realm warriors should be resurrected by the mysterious being talked about before who managed to gain Quan Chi's amulet; therefore possessing the ability to raise the dead. This being should be Fujin and he should establish himself as the new 'thunder god'. The warriors: Liu Kang, Jax, Sonya, Kitana, Kenshi, Sub-zero and Cyrax should then have to defend Earth from Shao Khan and his army. And Sheeva should return to join the Earth warriors in a temporary truce to save the Shokan race from Shinnock and Shao Khan's tyranny. Jade should also return in order to put her rivalry with Tanya to an end once and for all.
