Updated copy and paste of my old post regarding MK v KI.

The very first thing I would ensure is that SZ would be excluded from the crossover entirely mainly because I really want Frost to fight Glaicus. What I believe. Glaicus>Frost>CSZ>CZ.

I am also less familiar with KI's lore but I will have a go.

As for rivals, I am compiling a list of my choices of MK characters per KI character, as KI has less people to choose from. Yes, I leaning towards more MK icons but KI gets more control on pretty much everything else. Iron Galaxy must lead development of the stages, music, alts and accessories, finishing Ultras/Brutalities/Stage fatalities instead of normal fatalities.

Animalities, Friendships, Babalities or Hara Kiri will not make an appearance.

I would pick Liu Kang vs Jago, Noob Saibot vs Shadow Jago (after all he is a fully fledged character now), the Cage family vs Orchid, Cyrax vs Fulgore, Scorpion vs Cinder, Reptile vs Riptor, Fujin/Kitana vs TJ (TJ is as powerful as the wind he utilizes), Skarlet (Kano is less suited in a KI crossover so he is out) vs Maya, Havik vs Spinal, Sindel vs Saberwolf (They are both loud and hairy/furry? Idk), D'Vorah vs Sindra, Jade/Tanya vs Kan-Ra, Kai vs Omen, Mileena vs Hisako, Taven vs Aganos, Kenshi vs Tusk, Shujinko vs Gargos, Ashrah vs Mira, Daegon vs Eyedol, and most importantly NIGHTWOLF VS CHIEF THUNDER.

There has to be long combos to accommodate the 3 meters and breakers/combo breakers. Special moves would be a must.

Leading the tournament would be Shang/Shao or Ermac for variety.

I find KI stages infinitely more preferable and immersive to MK stages, with the move away from classic retro stages and the introduction of the very bland Snow Forest stage, I feel the lively world of KI will outdo and outclass the MK world. Don't get me wrong! I like most of the Outworld backgrounds in MKX but KI is renowned for their impressive stages and musical beats. So KI would take the lead in terms of those areas.

Story development would be shared by both game studios and I would want to see non-playable cameos from the Shokans, Baraka, Hotaro, Bo Rai Cho, Jacqui, Takeda, Kung Jin, Raiden and Ferra Torr.

I would not want any extra modes as the roster would be extremely time-consuming and balancing it would be a daunting task as it is. A single variation will be allocated for each character.

The xbox one s automatically upscales games to 4k. So every game Will get 4k support.

MK VR could be interesting, but as a spin off not a canon entry in the series. For the numbered games I'd rather stick to the classic formula.

And no, as much as I love Killer Instinct and horror icons, I am sick and tired of guest characters and cross-overs. MK is strong enough to stand on its own legs without Superman, Jago or Jason walking around.

Ugh, I thought iit will be true 4k support. That would require a hell of a powerful hardware tho. Nevermind. Upscaling to 4K would look like shit most likely.VR from the fighter perspective and several other selectable camera angles would be dope.

Well since there is project scorpio now, we will get true 4k graphics. Do you think NRS will re release MKX for it or make MK 11 instead ?
