Are there plans to release more Mortal Kombat XL DLC of more stages, characters, costumes? Will they release Mortal Kombat XXXL for PS4 and Xbox One?

Your guess is as good as ours. As of now, as far as we know, there are no plans for further dlc. Ed Boon has been his usual...let's say coy, self on Twitter when responding to questions about further support for MKX.

I've said it before, I don't think more support for MKX is so far fetched, especially since NRS just busted their collective asses to upgrade their online experience. That type of support for a game that's a year old(especially an NRS game) is pretty huge, and seems to indicate that they're not giving up on it just yet. But, once again, it's all speculation. If there is another round of DLC, I wouldn't expect it till around the end of Summer.

At this point I'd rather have 4 new or classic stages with stage Fatalities then 4 new characters.

ZOMG please be true!!! 'klassic' Tremor (bc who doesn't love palette swap klassic kostumes, as long as they aren't the primary) and Black Mamba Tanya oh yes, Kill Bill is one of my favourite films of all time and it so fits the bloody ultra-violent theme. No matter what, another Tanya costume will be much appreciated, really.

No confirmation if we will or not yet but I am willing to bet that if KP2/XL sells good enough that WB will tell NRS to release more content. If they know they can make more money, why wouldn't they release more content? I guess it all depends on if they think they will make a worthy profit or not.

Y'know, if one watches The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, before Leatherface dons his first mask, he's wearing something very similar to an MK ninja.

I'd like to see that costume, or his TCM 2 appearance.

It probably isn't true. I just got home from work and was going to add the like to my post about it and it's a broken link now. Meaning it got deleted. He had a screenshot of the game files. Somebody had to save the image.

I've personally browsed some data files from the PC version, and Klassic Tremor and Fatality pack 3 were there.

MK XL will get more support in the future. Keep you expectations low if you want, but stop being pessimistic.

Since they used an image of Kano doing the heart rip as the Klassic Fatality Pack promotional image, I seriously hope they do release KFs 3 and 4. There's some good ones they could use (I still don't know why they used the decap instead of the kiss of death for Kitana).

I could've sworn I saw someone (Boon maybe?) retweet Carlos Pesina showed a pic and said something about going back to the mocap studio recently.

I dunno, MKX was a massive success. They've done two Kombat packs and now they've redone the net code. I add all that up (plus Boon's constant DLC trolling on Twitter, which I obviously take with more than a grain of salt) and it sure seems like more DLC could be on the way.

I'd love for one more KP with an arena like the original MK2 portal or perhaps a deep cut like House of Pekara of Lung Hai Temple along with four MK characters like Fujin, Sareena, Kabal and Noob. I'd be happy with a story pack like Baraka, Rain, Sindel and soneone else from the story.
