"The sorcerer Quan Chi and I defeated the Thunder God Raiden, and while I was preparing to devour his soul, Quan Chis suspicions fell on me. He defeated me in Mortal kombat but our fight was interrupted by the clo-sing Onaga. Even with Raidens help we could not overpower the beast and the ethereal explosion of the gods sacrifice tore us apart. Or to say it more precisely, it merged me with the Soulnado. When Quan Chi fought me to the death i realised that at that time i cwas not able to tap into the powers of the Soulnado. Quan Chis magical lock prevented me from my constant supply of souls, but that barrier disappeared when he was absor-bed by the flash, and I flew into the green soul collumn battered.

To my suprise, the Soulnado could not tear me apart, but it has merged with my very being. The immense amount of souls overpowered me, and I devoured them all. To my knowledge, they weren't willing to resist. How odd. With the life essence of ten thousands of sentient beings I could now reshape my body, reunite my powers and emerge as a new Shang Tsung, who is not to be taken lightly.

But the current events changed my ways, and now I seek assistance to survive. Given the situation of my former master Shao Kahn and his omni-potent army of Shokans ravaging through the battlefields, the return and the ascension of the Dragon King, Onaga, and the fatal change of Raiden,
I now ally myself with those I fought before. I now fight alongside the protec-tors of Earthrealm and Edenia. But I have my own secret intentions too.

This deal I have struck with them may be the best choice I ever made in decades, it seems"

Baraka got the upper hand, and almost killed me hasn't it been for the timely intervention of Bo' Rai Chos batallion of the Edenian Knights Order. My plan was risky, but knowing my tarkatan heritage I knew I would survive if master Chos attack would be timed perfectly. They have brought me back to the palace. But my mother disappeared and when I returned and confronted Edenia i had to flee. My "sister" has taken controll of the Edenian regime, and now hunts me like a wild ani-mal. Even master Bo' Rai Cho was deceived and was sent to deal with the "double Kitana". However he quickly recognized the treachery and helped me escape the metropolitan fortress town of Edenias capital. Now, we travel to find my mother, Liu Kang and my long time trusted friend, Jade.

According to Bo' Rai Chos lore after we found a mystical edenian cave, I must face five challenges of a true ruler in my fathers burial chambers if I'm to regain controll of beloved Edenia."

Nice work Chrome. I like the one for Shang Tsung, Scorpion is a character I'm not that keen, but I like how he is out to get Rayden.

As for the Kitana/Mileena thing, well its not the way i see their story going or want it go, but its very interesting indeed.

However the echoes of the wars past are haunting us again. Kitana informed me about her so called sister Mileena, a being created out of Shang Tsungs sorcery as a counterpart of her during Shao Kahns rule. Mileena, a sinister being resembling Princess Kitana entirely was found by me and the guards be-hind edenias fortress palace walls, inside the capital.

It soon turned out to be that I was mislead. The Mileena I sought was in truth the real princess Kitana, who revealed her sisters terrible past to me. Evidence came to our hands when within an hour, every guard and soldier was searching for us, and I myself was found guilty of treason. We narrow-ly escaped the city, and despite our personal differences coming from the trainings past, Kitana and I joined forces with open heart.

During our travels we came across Kitanas fathers, King Jerrods burial grounds. It is where itana must prove herself worthy of being Queen of Edenia in Queen Sindels absence. but there is a greater chalenge yet to be faced, what is it, even I can only guess."

Rong Jun, lead sorcerress of the Undefeatable Undead Army was awaiting for her masters return, and death. And when the final blow has been delivered, it seems that Rong Jun used her powers to arti-fically lenghten the process of Onagas soul travelling to the nethers. Des-pite being the new champion of the Elder gods, not even Scorpion had the opportunity to fully destroy Onagas essence.

Onaga was banished, but his soul, alongsidewith his powers wandered to a new body. To the skeletal remains of the ancient dragon San Kun Dai.
Onaga, infused with his powers now rose to power in a new matter. No longer challengable in Mortal Kombat in his dragon form, he unleshed the ons responsible for his true return: the Five Ancient Generals.

Raidens accusations proved to be my undoing, but while the thunder god was obsessed with destroying my body, the Elders intervened. Scorpion, the only being capable of unleashing fury unmatched interrupted my tortu-res and fought of the renegade God. meanwhile, i was abducted by an un-known force known as one of the Elders. This deity, being a secret renega-de has infused me with the powers necessary to put an end to the terror what befell outr lands. My youth restored to a degree, and my body rebuilt but at a great cost. Even I find it hard to adapt to this new body with the figh-ting skills as a gift from a God. But I am fed up with gifts of fighting provess!
I must do what I must!

I was facing Shujinko after his fight with onaga and left him with his dignity to depart from our world. However before I could commence the true penal-ty after revealing the pain (what he coused to all of us) to him, the undead spectre Scorpion apeared and assaulted me. it was a fierce fight, but the ninja ghost allowed Shujinko to become abducted by an unknown force.
This force has also remade the elderly warrior, who now seeks assistan-ce from earths fighters in his unholy quest of feeding the fire that burns in Outworld. Only a handful of mortals, my most loyal friends care to take out their share of this holy struggle. It is sheer luck that i had reached them before the cavalcade of news concerning the recent events. They should listen to thier friends words, not on the rabble of wrongdoers!

Now I know why he was sent to fight me. The Elder Tribunal wishes me to be relieved of my duties. The error in their logic shall damn the worlds to their doom! If Earth falls first, the other realms should not last long aga-inst the recent onslaught. But, there is disagreement between the Gods. Some of them are willing to fight the evils with their won methods, while others refuse to partake in the battles, and rather await the outcome silent-ly. I think the time has come for the tribunal to be dismissed, it's participant Gods to be destroyed. it is the only way to protect the world known to all. Any individual who insists on creating chaos shall die by my hands, let it be God, or mortal!"

However not all is lost. the upcoming war tournament announced by the Elders Tribunal should be the perfect place of demonstrating earthrealms power. Having the cyborg Cyrax back in our ranks boosts our morale as well, and my old time friend, the monk Liu Kang, Champion of Mortal Kom-bat has returned from the heavens in his astral form to fight along our side. This time, the Spec. Forces represents itself with Earths army. While the tournament comences, a wast number of troops would stand ready to defend the portals leading to Earthrealm."

The vile creature would have enjoyed my defeat, but she could not savior her triumph, for I have made one last act of desperate defiance towards the traitor. I smashed a crystal orb that contained concentrated tarkatan male essence in her face, and hoped for the best outcome. The tarkatas overwhelmed the treacherous seed of Edenia, and I tried to escape. How-ever, my luck has left me when I faced the return of the Five Generals of Onaga.

I must escape Onagas gigantic fortress and dungeons to find and warn my Queen, but i fear the worst. Ever since I was held captive, I had a strange foreboding what could mean our complete doom if i am not to hurry! Queen Sindel must be found and informed. My mission is not yet over! My mission is to ensure Edenias safety, even if it means my own demise!"

I like the idea of Shang being blasted into the soulnado. That was an intriguing idea. Aligning him with the Earth warriors is a nice twist.

After Onagas destruction we fled back to Earthrealm as fastest we could to use the small time before the upcoming conflict errupts. The new tournament took us by suprise. In Raidens short absence, the Elder Gods and we witnessed Onagas and Shao Kahns return to power,
not to mention the uncountable sides taking part in the turmoil. A new tour-nament is anounced, this time held and runed by the Elder Gods themselves! No other battle has been fought like this, and the previous Mortal Kombats were a considerable joke compared to this one. Sure, I'll participate, but there is so much at stake.

As I travelled to Outworld with my newborn alliance of the Thunder Deity, Raiden, and my long time fellows, I stumbled upon a village desperate for help. The sorcerers that killed most of us, Quan Chis newborn army of demons are standing ready to assault the village. However, I have struck a deal with the bald spellcaster to ensure the safety of this village. But at a great cost what I think I may not be willing, or being ready to pay. This is John Carltons hardest choice.

Under the wise guidance of Raiden, we march to participate in the new Mortal kombat, hosted by the gods themselves. Knowing that we must hold together to suceed, I shall reason with the renegade warriors, and deal with Shang Tsung as he deserves. My murdeerr shall soon know the champions wrath once more.

Even being confident in the righteousness o my intentions and actions, I sense that our leader, the thunder god Raiden is burdened heavily. I do not know what pains him in a grievous matter, but we agree that oour full fury must be unleashed upon those who refuse to listen to oyur reasons. "We have been returned to earthrealm after the warrior legion Ermac and my deceased friends spirit, Liu Kang has freed us all from Onagas, the Dragon Kings mind controll. After Shang Tsung and Quan Chi has been destroyed, and my body and mind rescued, I have been proven of my faults and lack of discipline. I needed to return to my shaolin roots, for a warrior with doubts in his heart cannot suceed. I returned to eartn for a few weeks alongside with my reborn ally and good friend Liu Kang who guided me back to the reformed White Lotus Society. With the aid of the Shaolin Court I have managed to cleanse myself from my doubts, my fears and my anger what have led me to my demise. Thanks to Raiden, we all made it back alive and well.

Several weeks have passed and it became even more clear, that despite Shujinkos efforts, Onaga managed to get back to power. And not only he has returned to threaten innocents. Goro, Prince of the Shokan has reallig-ned himself with Shao Kahn, who is in fact alive and ravages Otworld with-out mercy. I must face my ancestors greatest adversary, and despite the fact that he dishonored the pact of peace between us and Kitana, I will fa-ce him in honorable combat and defeat him, putting an end to this reign of terror. But the thunder god brought us maters what are even more troub-ling: Shujinko, the old master of arts has alligned himself with the always scheming Shang Tsung, bringing out a new alliance of chaos. I don't know what to think of this fact, for Raiden seems to distance himself from pea-cefull methods, but I agree that Shang Tsung alive means a danger to all of us and to our friends.

Only if Raiden would not sound so different and cold, and Liu would be less zealous towards him. I must investigate this on my own, to learn the truth, and when armed with knowledge, decide to strike down or not my murderer. Only if this obstacle is cleared can I face the Prince of the Sho-kans. The turmoil in my heart either turns out to be my doom or my salvation. This challenge I am prepared to take however."

Now, the time has come to show the true force of the Black Dragon. At Haviks advice, we travelled back to the newly announced ournament to participate: Kira, her chosen warrior and I have been eager to do battle again. Not only Havik promised us gain if we were to bring chaos to Out-world, but if everything goes well, the distrupted world and the gods would be underdone by our command. Commanding the gods is a tempting offer to resist. With such power, our reapppearing enemy, the Red Dragon shall surely fall to it's knees before us.

But during the weeks Kira has shown enough zeal. Soon we shall act in our interest. Haviks offer is good. But considering the realm in dissarray, it's defenses broken and only Havik standing in our way, wouldn't it be easier for us to actually take our prize? And I still wonder...what does Havik hide from us?

Becouse Scorpion bears no personal grudge against the deity, while the Raiden bios states him as an enemy, becouse Raiden is greatly insulted by his meddling.
