What's up y'all

Ok so here's the issue.... I just bought the physical disc of MKX for the PS4 and seriously I feel like I just wasted 20$ because everytime I try to play the game Story Krypt Online Test your Might and Towers are locked (highlighted in red specifically) I tried finishing the tutorial... Playing 5 solo matches as the internet said but nothing worked J tried letting the game install in the background but nope it was straight up useless. Reinstalled the game update file twice but still no luck. I hope any of you ladies and gentlemen has a solution.
