Shao Kahn is once again emperor of Outworld, but instead of just tryin to take over Earth, Kahn takes every precaution necessary to ensure that he does not fail. This means gaining the favor of other realms before taking Earth. After Kahn has control of some realms, he goes after Earth. he sends warriors from all over. This new war takes place not just in Earth and Outworld, but in every realm involved.

" In the Netherrealm, I was used as a slave under the order of a demon known as Noob Saibot. When he was confronted by Ashrah, a demon seeking her escape from the realm, he ordered me to attack. It was at this point that my cybornetic programming went haywire, leaving my commerad to fight the battle on his own.

When I came to my senses, I was still in the Netherrealm, but I could since a change had occured in me. Noob was gone. I stood up and looked at my feet, where the robotic chamber which I had been confined to laid. Someone or something had givin me my freedom from the suit, and I had also regained my memory as a human. It would seem that my true form was only hidden underneath the armor all along. I had always had a soul and body, covered by the cyborg for which I had become most known. I had also noticed that my mastery over smoke had become stronger than ever. I had the ability to become smoke, to transform my body into it, as if I was a ghost.

I fled the Netherrealm and returned to Earth. Once there I could feel the presence of evil. Whatever it was, the matter would have to wait. My first act as human once again would be to locate my old ally Sub-Zero, and gain his trust This, however, led me to the site of evil. Outworld. "

" I thought my soul would never be at rest, until one day when the Earth fell into a dark state. Many warriors began to appear from all around, chanting the name Shao Kahn as the killed the innocent who opposed their rule. After this, I noticed many warriors fighting off the followers of Kahn. This war that was beginning to take place between realms was what I needed to find out who I truely was. I would learn about this war, and challenge whoever got in my way. I believe this will guide me to my true being."

" I was to be the elder god's chosen champion. The fool Shujinko belived himself to hold this title, but he had been decieved by the very evil that the elder gods were trying to keep away. I faced Shujinko in the Nexus and was defeated. He had mastered too many warrior's skills for my powers to hold against. After my defeat, the elder gods banished me to an eternity in hell."

" Luckily, Shujinko was able to defeat the Dragon King. However, he was killed by the thunder god Raiden for putting the Earth in danger. It was around this time that I ran upon someone who I thought I would never see again. Shao Kahn had came to the Netherrealm, attempting to gain its side in his quest to take over Earth. I am not too sure how this went between Kahn and the Netherrealm demons, but I myself was confronted by the new emperor alone. If he could not gain the favor of the realm, he wanted one of the most powerful beings from it. He proposed an offer that was too tempting to refuse. Therefore, I am no longer just a neutral wildcard in the war between Earth and evil, I must nowhelp Kahn in his quest for Earth."

" A few years ago, I was supposed to take the place of Raiden as protector of Earthrealm. But since the deadly alliance had formed, the thunder god chose to stay by Earth's side. I had no problem with this, but when Raiden decided to punish Earth, to punish what he is supposed to protect, it caused my trust in him to fall. Therefore I have taken it upon myself to become Earth's protector. I will protect Earth and all of its warriors, even if it means destroying Raiden himself."

" The warriors of Earth lured Onaga to his tomb. Once there, the Dragon King was greatly weakened. Sindel then chanted the spell to return Onaga to his original body from mine, and in doing so, left him in a very unstable state. He was quickly slaughtered, which I was able to get a quick glimps of as my body returned to normal." " I awoke as a rush of power surged through my body. I stood to attention in my green robe. My human-like outter figure had returned. The one standing before me was Shao Kahn. I swore my alligance to him once again for saving my life. He would need an asset like me anyways against Earth's fighters in the comming war. However, for the first time in a long time, my reptilian senses could sence another of my kind. SHE was close by, whoever SHE was. It was a raptor. But the emperor's orders would come first, even in a matter such as this."

I was there when the deadly alliance was threatening Earth, and when Onaga returned. But it hasn't been until now that I have shown my face in these events of kombat, which all sprouted from the seed that was a tournament on a small island." " When I was only 17 years old, I became a second degree blackbelt in Shaolin Do Kung Fu. This is when I decided to take my training from the masters, so I moved from the United States to China. I began to study the art in the Shaolin Temples. Many there worshiped the thunder god known as Raiden. It was almost required to give praise to Raiden, for some reason or another. I had never even seen this thunder god, until one day he came to get Liu Kang, a Shaolin warrior who I had trained with on many occasions. He needed Liu to compete in a tournament called Mortal Kombat. I was not chosen however, for my knowledge of martila arts was not near as vast as Liu's. He won the tournament. Defeated Goro to become champ and then beat Shang Tsung to end his threat to Earth." " It was around this time that the monks chose me to go to Outworld and train there. Their plan was to get knowledge from the skills of the Outworld's warriors. When I got there, I wandered into a place inhabited by beings known as Shokan. One of these Shokan that I met was Kintaro. He was feared by many other because of his brute size and strength, but I found somewhat of a friend in him." " After my journeys in Outworld, I returned to the Shaolin Temples to find out that Shang Tsung had lured Earth's warriors into Outworld, where the emperor Shao Kahn waited. I was given the chance to return to help my Earthrealm allies, but I found out that Kintaro had been drafted as Shao Kahn's leader of his armies. Because of this, I chose not to compete. Then, when the warriors had returned, I was shocked to find out that Raiden had killed Kintaro. I then refused to ever worship this thunder god, and thus I left the Shaolin Temples." " This is why I haven't fought for Earth in since then. But now, the thunder god has a lot of his own warriors scared of him, ever since he killed Shujinko. I find this as a good excuse to face him if he is ever to get in my way. This won't stop me though. I must help Earth in the fights from now on."
