For the first time since they started, I won't be watching. I just have no desire to. lol If they announce or show something, I'll watch it when it goes up on YouTube later.

Was there any talk about Kombat Pack 2 or was they just goofing around the whole entire stream ?

Nothing new really. At least nothing about KP2. Just some matches played amongst themselves. They tried to play online against fans and stuff but netcode wasn't having it. Steve (16Bit) lost to a Quan Chi scrub then afterwards they resumed offline matches and brushed off the awful netcode lol.
Other than that, they did however mention a small patch coming that will fix Pyro Tanya and Sorcerer Quan's issues. If anything else will be included, I'm not sure.
Balance wise, the game is in a good place right now. Aside from those hotfix issues. Only other thing really needed at this point is some Kenshi buffs lol.

Good news.
And I agree about the balance. Pretty level playing field for the most part(aside from most of the TYM community demanding Quan Chi's head). Kenshi, Goro, and Jason, could still use just a pinch of something to raise them up a bit.

Haha can't blame them too much though. He's an insane adversary but it's not often you come across a Summoner that really knows what he's doing. He doesn't really even have a strong tournament presence lately. Shujinkydink and Michelangelo are probably his top players right now. I hated Quan early in the game's life, and still do when I face him sometimes but after studying the MU, I'm much more prepared for that vortex.
The last patch did wonders for Goro and even though I agree he's still not quite there yet, I worry anything else they give him might push him to OP level. It'd need to be something subtle. And yeah Jason and Kenshi got it bad lol.

True, I'm a Warlock player and I just knew whatever summoner Nerf they had planned was going to fuck up everything. Color me as surprised as everyone else when the Nerf never came, haha.
I like Jason a lot, and its not like he's terrible, Reo is making top 16 and top 8's damn near everywhere he goes(maybe a case of the player just being really good), but the struggle is real. He has a rough time in most match ups.
Kenshi is no exception. Its obvious NRS is trying to avoid creating another "mk9" Kenshi, but they're seriously crippling the character in the process.

Not only that, but buffs came instead! Oh the salt was strong with that decision. And Warlock is a great variation. It covers Summoner's and Sorcerer's bad MUs (as few as there are). I'm pretty sure I saw a vid of a 54% corner combo with only one bar. That's insane lol. Impractical though, especially online but still.
Right. I mean truthfully, this game is fantastically balanced considering past titles and you're gonna have stronger and weaker characters regardless, but still doesn't mean those weaker characters couldn't benefit from a few minor buffs. Reo is just an amazing player anyway but mucho props to him for taking Jason so far. I know Reptile gives Jason an extremely hard time but a lot of that is them being foolish enough to teleport on me. I was really surprised that Slasher was the only thing that got buffed and even that was minor.
Agreed. Kenshi isn't exactly awful either but he is in dire need of some help if he's to keep up with the rest of the cast. It's a shame though. I feel for Pig. Bad time to be a character loyalist I suppose. I enjoy watching his matches and I hope that when and if they do anything with Kenshi, it'll bring him back into the competitive scene.
