no because the deathtrap for the pit2 was stupid because all that happened was that the guy fell onto a brick floor with some blood spots. if it does come back change the deathtrap.

I think the Pit 2 should return in the next Mortal Kombat. I really miss this one. As far as I can remember the Pit 2 was the first 3D Pit but it would look stupid in 2D though. I think it would look awesome in the newest technology we have in Mortal Kombat games. I can just see that now and remember the old days when MK2 was just released and seeing the Pit 2. I thought that the pit 2 was the coolest looking Pit ever. I don't know why. I guess because it looks so realistic and that is what would really happen if someone hit the bottom of a bridge and slammed into cement. But thats just my oppinion though and I would love to see it return just like The Pit did in Deception.

I do want it to come back in mk7 cause I think it would be pretty cool but mainly cause of the stage fatality. If I see that the player is being kick, thrown, punched etc. down the pit and once the player lands down there and being broken down to pieces, I think it would be a rip off of the sky temple. I want it like it was in mk2.

You don;t fall apart even from a dive like that. I liked the Pit 2, it was overall better than the Pit 3 (buzzsaws? please.) but not better than the original one with the spikes.

I think i would be better if the victim would bounce off from several rocks before hitting the stone floor. Or better, splash into a shallow river that would flow red afterwards.

They may as well make a Pit 7 to reclaim that a new official pit should have made it in every MK game. I have massive ideas for pits and stuff.. but posting them on here has only wasted my time. Boon or any big wig at Midway gives two craps.

They need to do that because Pit 1 was in MKD.Maybe in MK8 they could put Pit 3 in it

well i wonder if there even will be Death Traps in MK7. i like them in MKD but wouldnt miss them. so if no Death Traps i doubt it will be in there. then again.... it is cuz of the Death Traps there isnt any invisible walls in MKD.... so i guess id really want them back if the only other option would be invisible walls.

anyways Pit 2 in MK7? yah or nah? i dont really care all that much. rather would have a new stage. maybe a new Pit stage? i dunno.... really it dont matter to me. just as long as there wont be any invisible walls!

I think the Pit II should be back in MK7. They just need to change the deathtrap in it. Maybe they can put something more interesting. Anyway, I like the Pit II.

Pit 2 is my absolute favorite... because it looked so damn cool even tho it was so simple!!! It made it look SO DAMN HIGH up it was awsome!
Also it showed a front shot of the character falling... that was awsome...
I think that if the pit 2 returns they should pick on that... give it a unique camera angle or something like that... and NO EXPLOSIONS like in the sky temple..

I'm with you Kamionero. I miss the pit 2 real bad too!!! I think it was the scariest pit even though it was so simple but thats my oppinion though but I'm glad people still like it and still want it back in the future games.

I was just playing MK2 ironically, and yes the pit 2 is awesome, pit 1 is still the best imo though. But here's a question, if it was too return how would they do it, seeing as the square arena floor in MKD was gay, it would have to be the old narrow bridge style.

If they could fix that problem id say hell yes, bring back all the pits, maybe with the exception of pit 3.
