Hey

Ok I'm new to Mortal Kombat n havent played the other games, just this one so don't go mad if I ask a dumb question :3

1. How can the other revenants now become human if Quan Chi is dead?

2. People on here ask about Quan Chi dyin n therefore goin BACK 2 the Netherrealm... so then he's immortal? Or am I missin information here?

3. I watched the video of Mortal Kombat 9, n now I wish Kabal n Noob Saibot were in MK X, does anyone else?

4. The posters for MK X talked about Goro, but he isnt even in the storymode, so wot was the point of him bein EVERYWHERE? :/

1) They will probably find another way. Or they will not.

2) No, he is dead. There is no eveidence of him being sent back to the Netherrealm. That can only be his soul.

3) Probably.

4) He was just a bonus character used as a pre-order incentive.

1. They'll find a way. The MKU is pretty much set up in a way that anything is possible, and with all of the magic users, sorcerers, gods etc. its easy for the writers to kind of just make something up lol

2. He isn't immortal, though his soul was probably sent back there. So he more than likely will come back one way or another lol

3. Yes please lol

3. He was just there for people to pre-order or buy later on, he isn't part of the game's main story sort of like Tremor.

1. NRS will pull some excuse out of their ass like always to bring them back.

2. Already you'be put more thought into this than the writers did.

3. I don't miss them at all.

4. Honestly I don't know. If you want people to put money down on your game in advance why not use someone popular like Noob or Smoke? Goro is a really odd choice in that regard.
1 Nobody stays dead in Mortal Kombat

2 It's debatable. Some argue MK isn't known for coherence n consistency...

3 Everyone wants to see their favorites in every game.

4 Marketing. The MK team really like him, and he's almost a secondary mascot like Scorpion or the other ninjas. MK team makes odd decisions that some fans see as either trolling or incompitence.

2) The Netherrealm is a Realm like every other. It exists in a slightly altered plane of existence which allows interactions between the living and the dead. The Netherrealm or Hell is the largest Realm of them all. In the bios of older games often you could read of a place called "the fifth plane of Netherrealm".
The Netherrealm of the MK mythologies works exactly like every other Realm but has a function of "prison" for the wicked souls.
It's not a coincidence that there's a place called the "Prison of Souls".

Just to make an example, the Netherrealm is like Dante Alighieri 's Inferno where living human beings could interact with the Dead Ones.
Dante needed Vergil and Beatrix, the human beings need a God who open a portal for them or the presence of a Netherrealm inhabitant. If you watch carefully, Jax, Kenshi and the Special Forces are allowed in the Netherrealm only due to Sareena.

1)Quan Chi is one of the most evil souls ever, so I believe he is trapped in a plane of existence within the Netherrealm where humans and living beings are not allowed, like The Prison of Souls. Do not forget that Shinnok has the power of resurrecting the dead and is the ruler of the Netherrealm.

I believe that Dark Raiden alone with his healing powers and the corruption of the Jinsei is able to restore his warriors humanity.

3) I like both Kabal and Noob Saibot, but I am in favour of roster change and diversity. So I believe that once in a while all the characters need a hiatus of one or two games. For instance, my favourites Cage, Sonya and Kenshi could skip the next game or being just cameos and come back coooler than ever in MK 12.
4) Goro was just promoted as pre-order bonus. I admit that he deserved a playable chapter in Story Mode, but Kenshi deserved it too, and the same goes for Erron Black. I' ve switched 2 and 1 because it made more sense to explain how the netherrealm works, before explaining how Quan Chi could come back to life.
