it seems a lot of people on here think that Raiden in MKD is still a good guy fighting the good fight. I don't see it that way. Raiden is not evil and is not trying to take over Earth, but he is Dark and is willing to sacrifice humanity to accomplish his goal of protecting Earth.

When Raiden fought Shinnok long, long ago he helped to destory the Saurion civilization. He felt guilty for what had happened and, sort of, got to involved with the humans when they became the dominate species. You could even say he grew to love humans and wanted not olny to protect Earth but its people as well. That was old Raiden.

Dark Raiden would kill us all and not think twice, Protecting the land is his priority #1. If we die so be it. If we do anything he doesn't like, we're target practice.
