Ashrah had nothing to do with Raiden. She found the holy sword and with it purified herself from the Netherrealm's taint of evil. Are you sure you actually want Ashrah to return considering you seem to know very little about her?

Also, the kriss is not an holy weapon, but a vampire-killing-mind-controlling sword that was locked away in hell by the vampire kind.

That, I think, depends on your POV.
I mean, it did purge Ashrah of evil, how else would she have been expelled from the Netherrealm? Perhaps it was made by the forces of light to convert evil souls by purging the realms of nasties. Yet, to the vampire people, it would be seen as a major threat to them as well as all other demons, and it would be easy to see being under its influence as brainwashing.

Ashrah's kriss is named Datusha, it did indeed kill many Vampires.
