Do not introduce more weak sorcerers into this timeline, the only exception is for a Shadow Priest; I would love one even if he/she jobs.

The only canon Shadow Priest we can play as is Shang Tsung and I do remember that he was the leader of the Shadow Priest as of Mk2 and Mk3 in the OT.

We now need a Maskerd Guard (an existing character can take the role). A Lava Priest (an existing character can take the role). A Holy Man Dragon King (an existing character can take the role). And a Mummified Soldier Dragon King (Undead General was to be in MKDA and was cut from the game).

Isnt shang a leader of the shadow priests? I always thought he was just their leader.

I was referring to the bald guy from the series. Sharing that appearance, with an original moveset.

Shang Tsung is the leader of the Shadow Priests.... so you already have all you need.

I'd only want to see a Shadow Priest if it's one of those throw-away, generic, beat 'em up characters (like those clones you see in Soul Calibur) in Story Mode or if we ever see Konquest return.

Shang could have it as an alternate costume. Not sure if it would fit him tho. As you said, it kinda looks generic. That's why i prefer the shadow priest look from the Konquest series. He could wear the classic shadow priest cloth in the intro or as alt costume?

I understand shang is the leader of the shadow priests. But this shadow priest/monk would be nothing like Shang or ermac. Atleast not how i imagine him in terms of appearance and play style.

I think there still is room for a high skilled priest in dark arts. If there is one fighting game where these characters fit best, it's MK. How i imagine him, he would not look or play like any of the sorcerers we have already. Im aware of character diversity.

If i had any drawing skills i would upload his apperance and move set. If anyone would be interested, i can try my best to describe the character in more detail. As for appearance and move set.

I imagine his appearance as a mix of both these pictures. (more like the upper image, lower image in terms of colors)
