Dark Empress Kitana appears to be random just winning any living tower. I got it without using Kitana, getting bronze rank.

That's weird, I completed at least 3 living towers today and I don't believe I unlocked that Kitana skin, unless I did and just missed it, ill check tomorrow :)

Yay! I needed this thread! Ok so I haven't done a pre-order in a while and I'm new to the ps4. I have the pre-order code on my receipt, but when I select Goro it just says purchase him for 4.99. Where do I type in the code to unlock him?

@Windy_Thunderstorm: Go to PSN (or the Xbox equivalent) and find the "Redeem Code" option, then just enter the code on your receipt, hit download, and you will be good to go :)

Clear the classic/klassic tower. It's somewhere in the krypt as well.

Is the "/" part of the code? Just type it exactly how it is on the receipt, don't worry about dashes or spaces though. For example mine was something like "NT37-7HNF-KM8G" and I typed "NT377HNFKM8G" and it worked.

Just double check to make sure you are typing it correctly, and if that doesn't work, I would call the store where you got the receipt from and maybe they can troubleshoot with you.
