In this thread, you can post any moves you want the selected character (shown in the thread title) to have. The moves can be special moves and ordinary moves.I will change the character every so often (when people stop posting ideas for the current character). Also, you can post what fighting styles and weapon(s) you want the character to have. First up is Raiden!

Styles: Jujitsu, Nan Chuan, Staff

Torpedo (special):
Classic Raiden move. The same as in all MK games it's been in, but he says different phrases.

Thunder Bolt (special):
You can't have a thunder god without it.

Thunder Stun (special):
New move. Raiden fires a powerful bolt of lightning at the opponent. It doesn't take any life off of them, but it does stun them, setting him up for a big combo. Unblockable, but dodgeable.

Teleport (special):
Raiden simply teleports behind the opponent.

Swoop Slash (staff):
New move. Raiden slashes the opponent's face and then sweep's them.

Post your ideas/comments!

-Water/Control ball--Brief Description (He simply shoots a stong blast at his opponent which is composed of water/rain. It is a fairly quick attack where you can see him form the water ball around his hands where it will twirl in a light blue ball. When it connects it will send the opponent rolling backwards as if they just been hit with subzero's cold shoulder and it takes up a decent amount of health.)

It will not melt for 6 or 7 seconds and if the opponent steps on it they will begin to slip, making themself vulnerable to attacks.)

-Ninja Slide--Brief Description (Extremely quick and can only be blocked by ducking and blocking. When he does this a line of ice is made exactly the way his younger brother's shoulder charge looks.)

Raiden:

Fighting Styles -

1) Kung Fu - I believe it is one of, if not the oldest martial art, fitting for an eternal god.

2) Classic - all of MK1 and 2 Raiden's MKT combos

3) Warhammer (Was cool in both MK4 and MKD, plus I wanna see Kai return w/ the staff)

Specials:

Lightning bolt

Reverse lightning (gotta bring that back)

Sky lighting / lightning storm (like Sub Zero's old ice showers, it would be like a lighting storm all over the arena, or in specific spots - ala the ice showers - depending on the button command.

Teleport

Torpedo

Lighting shield (the electric shield he uses in the MKD intro against Shang Tsung)

Etheral Blast (again from the MKD intro, he would supercharge his energy and release a huge blast that destroys anything in close proximity, but would also take off some of Raiden's own health bar...)

Rolling thunder (He is the god of thunder toogrin Whenever an opponent jumps or is mid-air doing a special, this move would knock them out of the air back down to the ground from the reverberations of the thunder.

---

Nice thread.

Okay. Next is Sub-Zero!

Freeze Ball (special):
This time, if it's blocked, it bounces straight back at him.

Cold Shoulder (special):
Just like in Deception.

Ice Clone (special):
A little bit different. Sub-Zero teleports behind the opponent, leaving an Ice-clone in his place. Handy if someone is about to attack you.

Kori Cut (Kori Blade/ Special):
NEW MOVE. Subby slices the opponent in several places. This takes life off the opponent, leaving them to bleed to death. Just like the impale move in MKDA, but you keep your weapon. It can be used more than once, but after the first time, it only does a small amount of damage.

Post your Subby ideas!

You are aware that Kung Fu is not a martial arts style, but a general term describing hundreds of Chinese martial art styles? But back on topic.....

Sub-Zero
Styles: Shotokan, Isshin Ryu
Weapon: Arctic Mace (a slight modification of his MK4 weapon, but made completely of ice, and with huge and protruding spikes sticking out from the top)

Moves:

Frozen Hell (like Scorpion's Hellfire, except it's a massive arctic wind that rises, and you're frozen if hit)

Ice Shaker (from MK:DA, nice shit)

Kori Punch (he flash-freezes the air around his fists, and they turn into huge chunks of ice, and he proceeds to hit his opponent)

[modified] Ice Clone (a newer version of the ice clone, after he makes the clone, it starts to walk towards the opponent on its own, until it dissolves)

Okay. Next up is Scorpion!

Harpoon (special):
IMO, you can't have Scorpion without it.

Hellfire (special):
The same as in MKD but only this time, it can only be blocked if ducking & blocking.

Teleport Kick (special):
Scorpion teleports behind the opponent and kicks them in the back.

Firewall (special):
NEW MOVE: Scorp makes a flaming wall in front of him. If the opponent uses a projectile, it bounces straight back at them.

Ok. Before I do Scorpion's stuff, I'll go into detail about the 3 moves of Sub-Zero's that was requested for detail.

Ice Wall is a move that I was inspired by when watching an episode of The Batman when Mr. Freeze made like a bit a wall made out of ice. It wasn't a big wall, but more like a kind of shield...except a really big one...It's meant to be like a counter move, but Sub-Zero can push the wall against the opponent. The wall doesn't last forever though.

Ice Shower is basically his MK3 move in which he blasts ice upward and it goes downward on the opponent. The start up is a bit slower than the Freeze, but if it hits, the opponent is frozen a bit longer than the Freeze.

Ice Shaker is his move from MKDA in which he's surrounded by an icy mist and if the opponent gets near Sub-Zero, he/she will be flash frozen. I think Sub-Zero should have a cancel for it so that he's not so vulnerable like he was in MKDA. In addition, I think Sub-Zero should have a charge to his Ice Shaker move. The longer you charge it, the farther the icy mist will expand.

Another move that should have a charge and cancel should be his Freeze. If the charge is at max for his Freeze, he should do the Polar Blast attack his older brother had in MKM: SZ.

Now onto Scorpion....

Scorpion

Fighting Styles

Mode A: Shirai Ryu, Ninja-To
Mode B: Hapkido, Champion's Blade

Special Moves

Spear: B, F, 1

This is Scorpion's trademark move in which he shoots out a roped spear to catch the opponent. It hits high and can be ducked or sidestepped. If it connects, Scorpion should have various options.

1. He can reel them in and pummel the shit out of them.

2. He can violently snatch the spear back which will stun the opponent.

3. He can toss them with the spear.

If Scorpion misses, he can pull it back using a command or he can use it as a whip. If he uses it as a whip, he'll have great range but be a bit vulnerable. If he gets hit a certain way (namely by a physical attack), the spear will come back to him automatically.

Teleport Punch: D, B, 1

This is another known move of Scorpion's. This is great for getting out of near death trap situations as well as avoiding to be cornerned into a wall. If Scorpion is already cornered to the wall, well, this move isn't going to work for him. When this move hits, it hits mid and pushes the opponent a bit. The Teleport Punch can also be done when Scorpion is in the air.

Forward Leap Punch: D, F, 1

This move is from MK Trilogy and is much like the Teleport Punch. However, he goes forward in this move and is a bit quicker because of that. Like the Teleport Punch, the Forward Leap Punch hits mid though it's not as strong as the Teleport Punch. However, this move still has it's usefulness and can also be done in the air.

Fire Breath: D, F, 2

This is an unblockable move from MK4 and MKG with pretty good range to it. However, it has a slow start up and the recovery time is pretty bad.

Summon Hellfire:, D, B, 2

This is another unblockable move involving fire. This move is in MKDA and MKD and Scorpion raises his hands so that flames come up and engulf the opponent in them. This has a faster start-up and better recovery time than the Fire Breath but it can be avoided through sidestepping and moving away. It's also a bit weaker than the Fire Breath.

Fiery Flipkick: F, B, 3

This is a mid hitting anti-air attack from MKDA and MKD which requires good time. Bad timing leads to a big disadvantage for Scorpion and if the move is avoided, Scorpion is a bit vulnerable for being attacked.

Next is Shao Kahn!

Wrath of the Hammer (special/ wrath hammer):
NEW MOVE. Kahn takes out his hammer and uppercuts the opponent. He then fires a fireball at the opponent sending them flying.

Taunt (special):
No need to explain tongue.

Emergency!(special):
NEW MOVE. When Kahn is very low on health, he morphs into Kintaro for the rest of the round.

Post your Shao Kahn Ideas here!

Shao Kahn

Fighting Styles:

Mode A: Tai Tzu, Wrath Hammer
Mode B: Pankration, Power Spear

Tai Tzu is the Grand Emperor style of Kung Fu and has different forms of it.

The Wrath Hammer is Shao Kahn's trademark weapon of choice and symbolizes his great power.

Pankration (also called Pancratium), is an ancient Greek combat style that uses very brutal, powerful techniques.

The Power Spear is another of Shao Kahn's weapons. It's second to his Wrath Hammer.

Special Moves:

Shoulder Ram: F, F, 1

This is a mid hitting attack that knocks the opponent down if it connects.

Rising Shoulder Ram: D, F, 1

This is just like his Shoulder Ram except it goes diagonally and makes a good anti air attack.

Energy Blast: B, F, 2

This is his mid hitting projectile from MK3.

Taunt: D, F, 2

With his taunt, he can regain a bit of his health.

Energy Spear: B, F, 1

This is his low hitting projectile from MK2. It's stronger, but slower than his Energy Blast.

Grab n' Punch: F, F, 2

Shao Kahn grabs you and punches you. This knocks the opponent down. The grab can be ducked and sidestepped.

Energy Shield: F, B, 2

This is his move from MKD and acts like a defense move as well as an offensive move. It hits mid and has the same effect it does in MKD.
