Leatherface: Admittedly more fun than I expected. Still not in love with the character, but he plays pretty well, at least with Butcher and Killer variations. Both have easily executable combos and some really nice range/damage. Pretty Lady is a bit more clunky/heavy and overall rather awkward to play. Fatality 1: Lame. Fatality 2: Rad. Only 1 interesting Brutality and it's the one that was showcased in the stream.

Alien: Definitely takes some getting used to as his fighting style depends a lot on his tail attacks and his variation specific moves. Very fast, great range, fun to play. Konjurer is easily my least favorite variation of the entire pack. The Drone drop attack is incredibly difficult to hit with. Fatalities are both great. Bonus points for his win pose and the fact that the chestburster appearance varies based on the opponent. Lots of love went into this one like it did with Predator.

Bo Rai Cho: Amazingly fun. Definitely the reboot this character deserved. Drunken Master was surprisingly easier to learn than I expected. His moves are some of the smoothest, easy-to-combo moves I've played in this game. Not a single variation of his that I don't like. Both of his fatalities are excellent and his brutalities are all pretty damn funny. Definitely my second favorite out of the pack.

Triborg: My most anticipated character, and he did not disappoint. There's not a single variation of the 4 that isn't fun to play. Everything about him is incredible. The multiple different versions of his brutalities depending on who you play as make him even more fun. I really need to know if Cyber Sub has his own brutality since all of the other 3 do.

Cyber Sub does have his own brutalities. One of them being the freeze then uppercut....that might be the only one.

He has another one in which he slides on the opponent, using him as a skateboard, and then he slices them in half.

Literally got home from work and played three fights with Bo. He is amazing!

Loving his intros with the Shaolin boys but the Bo vs Reptile intro gave me chills:
Bo: I sensed a Zaterran
Reptile: The Last Zaterran
Bo: No, there is another.

I haven't spent too much time with everybody yet but so far Leatherface and Trborg are both really fun, Alien I only spent a little time with and it seems like it will be fun too, I am going to try Tarkatan in a bit ( I played with Acidic ) and I probably won't touch Konjurer.

I have yet to try Bo out so I can't really give an opinion on him yet lol

Having a ton of fun with Triborg and Leatherface so far. Cyber Sub-Zero and Sektor are the two variations I've used with Triborg and I really enjoy how just enough normals remain the same in each variation. Kind of upset that I went through the tower with him and never got the Kove for the achievement but whatever.

Butcher is the only variation for Leatherface I've used but I am really loving his hammer attacks paired with the restands.

I put in a few minutes of Bartitsu practice with Bo Rai Cho which was also a pretty fun variation to use. Didn't play it enough to give a full opinion though.

Haven't done much with Alien at all yet beyond going in to practice to check out his moves real quick. The acid moves seems like something that I could see either getting a speed or damage decrease but past that he seems fine.

Triborg is fucking awesome. Loving Sektor and Smoke the most. Haven't played the others, don't really have any interest in them tbh

I am also BLOWN away by Triborg! I would never have expected 4 characters in one! And all play really differently from one another surprised he wasn't more expensive LOL. I haven't played Bo yet saving him for later, and I am sorry to say am gonna pass on the two guests. As I am one of those guys that thinks 4 guests is too much for one game. Predator was a great character, Jason not so much.

P.S. I have found TWO Brutalities for Cyber Sub Zero.

1) Same as Sub Zero, Freeze them and uppercut them while frozen for last hit.
2) Do an enhanced dive kick ( drone boost not needed ) as the last hit. Can be stand alone or in combo. I keep holding down from the dive kick don't know if it matters. But it is awesome. He body surfs on ya and skids along the floor tearing you in half in the process.

Oh S**T buddy up above was right!
BRUTALITY # 3 for Cyber Sub Zero do a Drone Enhanced freeze blast as last move and it freezes them in a block of carbonite I mean ice. It's an obvious reference to Han Solo being frozen in the Empire Strikes Back LOL

Damn!!

Alien I'm still getting use to, but the other three are three of my favourites already.

Tri-borg needs to be back in MK11 - just such a phenomenal character. Amazing diversity, rich gameplay and brutal.

Bo Rai Cho' has stepped away from the joke character - for the most - and made him a total BA - the one who taught the Shaolin and Shang Tsung their amazing martial arts!

Meanwhile Leatherface I thought I would never play as in a million years - but damn! Phenomenal character - just the combos, pop ups, chains and specials are brilliant and fun to use.

I've only gotten to play as Triborg and Bo Rai Cho so far. Kinda taking my time with the new characters.

Triborg is really damn good. Cyber Smoke is pretty flashy, I just love the moves he has. Messed around with the Sektor variation, felt like I was dancing around Scorpion and he was petrified lol. I'm not that good with Cyrax yet since he's all about timing the grenades correctly. I was able to do that in MK9 quite well, just haven't spent enough time yet. His fatalities are awesome, some of the best in the game. Cyber Sub, same as Cyrax, needs more lab time from me but holy hell he has a shit ton of moves. I wanna get a better understanding of the drones. Triborg really is a 4 in 1 character. The universal combos they share are very fitting. He is definitely going to be a favorite for a lot of fans, including this one.

Bo Rai Cho - only practiced on drunken master so far, he has a really long list of combos. Just trying to remember all of them. Have toget the timing right when to drink buff before he throws up. It resets each following round which I'm not too happy out. But otherwise, he is everything I wanted him to be. His intro dialogues are hilarious. I love what I'm seeing so far.

MKXL brings new life to MKX. Definitely worth the purchase, I'm in Heaven right now.

I'm very happy with Bo Rai Cho in particular and Triborg is also very good. Both have fully fleshed out variations and help refresh the game. (I also don't buy guests). Happy with how NRS put these characters together.

I'll rank them

1. Triborg we knew he would be awesome but DAAAAM every robot is better than excepted

2. Bo Rai Cho - Fun and funny

3. Letherface - no shit my very first match I pulled off a 27 Combo for 37%

4. Alien - Acidic is cool but the other 2 are not for casuals

Overall Triborg has the best Fatality in the game and the Brutalities for kP2 are some of the best.

I really believe that they gave everybody at least 7 Brutalities

Triborg
Love this new character and I must admit at first I was skeptical about him. But now he and Scorpion are my 2 top fighters to play as. Love the Cyrax variation. If you are fast enough you can lay 3 bombs of varying versions with him in this game. I wish they would have given each variation their own Fatality too.

Alien
He is an okay fighter. I do like the facehugger brutality and move too, but he is difficult to master and to play as for me.

Leatherface
A little cheap fighter I must admit. I used him a few times to get the achievements and he feels a little sloppy at times. He does have some wicked combos though with his chainsaw.

Bo'Rai Cho
His variation with the stick is one of the best in the game and he can have some pretty large combos too. I just get a kick out of him when he farts. LOL

I got to try the new characters (finally!) when i visited my friend this past week.

Alien: Much better than i expected, even though i was blown away by the hype. Konjurer not as difficult to use as it appeared, but it does take some practice to get the hang of. Acidic and Tarkatan both brutal and straightforward. Very quick character, very impressive range on his prehensile tail, kick-ass finishers.

Bo' Rai Cho: At first i felt like i preferred old Bo to new Bo, but after a while the new one started to click for me, especially the Bartitsu variation. Drunken master seems to be the most tricky to get a handle on, and as i didn't have very long i wasn't able to make good use of him. I'm glad not all the finishers were fart jokes and they gave him some varied if not altogether unpredictable moves.

Leatherface: I hated this guy from day one. Then i saw the video showcasing what he can do and i got a little excited. Then i tried him and went back to disappointment. Not overly impressive and something of a one-trick pony even with three variations.

Tri-borg: I can't love this one enough. Clearly the best character(s) by far. The variations are so very unique, the special moves are superb and the brutalities are phenomenal. I like Cyber Sub-Z the most, i think. He ans Sektor are very user-friendly. Smoke takes a little getting used to, but Smoke's teleporting all around the place is so good to confuse opponents. Cyrax's bombs are hard to use at first, i couldn't work out the timing at all. But given more practice, I would probably have figured that out.

I really wish i could play this game at home, but without a console or internet it is impossible. Must find a friend who lives closer...
