It was early rumored that they were suppose to throw that in the mix, but prolly laziness or mabey even budget problems changed their perception. But then again it wouldnt hurt me none not to see it in Mk7 though.

When I first joined here (which was around the time of the infamous Baraka render leak), I heard speculation that torn clothing was a possibility in MKD. Turns out that didn't happen, because, according to an interview with an MK Development Team member (which was on the MKO news page, by the way), torn clothing was a "technical trade-off". Basically, torn clothing was out of the question if the game was to run at 60 fps. I kinda doubt they'll have torn clothing in the immediate future.

My other concern about torn clothing is that if they make one error with the torn clothing effects for the female characters, that MK game could be smacked with an "AO" rating, which means it probably won't be released.

What about the Women? Some of them look like they don't were bra's, so if there clothes get torn off, well thats basiclly Nudality, which will screw up the game. But Great Idea.

Well, in case of women, they could do things more like Tao Feng did, and tease the player. Suppose some body like Mileena wears her alt. the things that could tear would probably be her sash, the clothing on her boots, parts and parts of her viel. In Tao Feng one of the female characters there, Jade Dragon would have pars of her top rip but they'd be small scraps right above her breasts which served as more of a tease. I don't see why it can't be done in MK.
