hey guys what do you think about the use of th unreal engine 3 in mk7?

What kind of grafics details do you want to see in the next mk game?
What kind of visual effects?

Do you think midway will use the unreal engine in mk7?
Does it will make easier to do graphics effects for the developpers?

Do you really think the next mk games need to improve the graphics?

Most likey yes. There was a news artile on the 2-2-05 saying something about how Midway has the rights to use the new UE on next gen consoles. There is a very high chance of the MK team using it.

Of course the graphics need to improve. MK: DA and MK: Deception's graphics were ok for its style , but no where near the level of todays graphics by most games. Like most things in MK: DA and MK: Deception anything can and should be inproved.

It's all very well saying that the graphics could be improved by using more advanced lighting models, more polygons, special effects etc, but it could look a lot better with the existing engine, if things like the character models and animation were worked on.

I think they should aim for photorealism like the 2d mk games.

Better skin textures. Goro's skin just looks terrible on the front page pic.
