Scorpion was Takeda, formerly a Japanese Ninja... Sub-Zero is the little brother of the original Sub-Zero (Now Noob Saibot) who killed Scorpion, and the Sub-Zero brothers are Chinese... So there is no relation.

Scorpion wasn't Takeda. That was only the TV show. Scorpion's real name before he died was Hanzo Hasashi.

Lone_Thunder is thinking of MK Conquest(T.V. series), if I'm not mistaken. The Movies/Shows have nothing to do with the game's story.

Takeda was a Lin Kuei who left, taking their secrets, and techniques to his homeland of Japan, forming the Shirai Ryu. This was ages before Scorpion, and the Sub-Zeros were even born.

Scorpion(Hanzo Hazashi) was a Shirai Ryu.

Sub-Zero became Noob Saibot, and his younger brother became Sub-Zero from MKII on.

Sub-Zero, and Scorpion are not related, nor are they related to Takeda.

Takeda was named on the first MK game. It was taken from the real Takeda who founded Ninjitsu. When they created the first MK game, they made characters that were adopted from Japanese Mythology and Big Trouble in Little China. Maybe it's because I'm old enough to remember the original game. Oh, and I never watched Conquest, so I didn't get anything from that show. And I am referring to the story line in the actual games.

Too bad what you wrote is utterly untrue. There is not a word that consists of Takeda in MK1. Null, zero, simply nothing. Even the biography for Scorpi-on, or Sub-Zero for that case, omitts any japanese words, let alone names.
