posted01/18/2016 06:20 PM (UTC)byAsesinoI don't read the comic no more and I missed a lot. Do they mention him ? Any info at all except he is seen in the background of The Pit ?
What is he supposed to do right now 25 years after the last MK ? I would like to see him tho, he's fire. But they need to take his MK:A look and make it smaller like he was in MK:DA. So any info ?

I have a big feeling Blaze is going to be either the boss of MK11 or a sub-boss. They isn't a doubt in my mind he will appear in the next game.

The events of Armageddon would have happened during the 25 years gap in the MKX story but we know for a fact Taven was still asleep since Kenshi and Takeda awoke him in their ending.
The war waged during the original MK4 and the series of brutal wars in Deadly Alliance and Deception proved too much for the realms to handle, thus a corrupted Blaze made the call for the brothers to be awoken.
In the new timeline, the equivalent of MK4 was quickly dealt with and nothing much (except for the kamidogu dagger thing) happened for 25 years. Chances are the "fabric of the realms" are in much better condition than they used to be.
Deliah forsaw the destruction of the realms. I like to the think the shift in the timeline was enough to prevent that.
I think we should get a comic that focuses on Shujinko stopping Onaga from coming back at the last minute(instead of unleashing him like last time) then saving Blaze from his Holy Men.

1) We don't know for sure that Blaze is fifghting against Rain. To some people he looked more like Taven.
2) even if the one fighting Blaze is indeed Rain, it is easily explainable: Rain found out he is the step-brother of Taven amd Daegon, and therefore son of Argus.
So he wants to kill Blaze to absorb his divine power and become a God.
3) No, there's no mention of Blaze and Taven in the comics. But I bet my ass that the story arc involving Kenshi, Takeda, Taven and Daegon will be canon in the next game.
Currently, Blaze is still protecting the last dragon egg. That's all we know about him at the moment.

He may yet get a part in the comic storyline for next 'year', since the last issue ended on a cliffhanger that mentioned Onaga.

It's hard to see that happen, because in MK X Daegon is still alive.
So Kenshi could fight Daegon, but failed to kill him.
Poor Kenshi, beaten by Hsu Hao and armless (literally) Goro.
