Look at all the non-humans- shokan, centaur, tarkata, oni, raptor, vampire, dragon, and even elemental. Sub-Zero is even a cryomancer, an off-shoot of humanity. Why do people need to mutate themselves to combat Nephilim in a universe where sorcerory is 100% real?

This is just another case of Vogel forgetting both what he and Tobias established.

The Tarkatan’s(Seriously surprised Vogel even remembered that they are called that) were created by Shao Kahn long after he seized the throne and were created to be Shao Kahn’s personal loyal lap dogs. So Baraka wouldn’t have an outlook like that...lol wait...okay not even going to try and analyze the mindset of a character in MK. It’s like trying to intellectually analyze G1 Transformers.
Bottom line. No, this is just Vogel once again simplifying MK for the sake of the new audience coming in from MK 2011 or MKX.
