From the last two real Mortal Kombat games Deception and Armageddon, two new factors were introduced Chaosrealm and Orderrealm from Deception, and Taven and Daegon characters from Armageddon. And on multiple occasions people have been expressing their dislike of these new concepts in the Mortal Kombat Universe. Therefore, I'm opening up this thread for you people to decide which concept is the worst one, and if one would return which would it be.

Taven and Daegon were a lot worse than Chaos Realm and Order Realm.

Chaos Realm and Order Realm were just a bit too weak and one dimensional to justify a whole new worlds. Maybe if they were part of Outworld itself.

I always hated the idea that essentially Mortal Kombat 1 - Deception were just going to be a testing ground for 2 Demi God brothers to decide the fate of the world... Plus Taven is a completely un-likeable cunt. I mean at least Shujinko was somewhat charming.

Daegon has a slightly better design than Taven though, Even if its nicking a lot of other characters design traits. (Sub Zero's eye scar, Shao Kahn's leather chest piece and cape etc.)

If one has to come back it should be Order and Chaos realms.

Taven & Daegon's concepts were just corny. Both of them are boring.

I actually like Taven and Daegon. I don't think they're good enough to be in every game, but if they came back just once or twice, I'd be interested.

As for Seido and Chaosrealm, the only character out of the four of them I like is Havik.

Hotaru is bland...Darrius doesn't have a god damned thing to do with anything Mortal Kombat related, like he's living in his own little world with no connection to anybody who matters...and I actually think Dairou is THE ugliest character design in the history of MK. Like, worse than Hsu Hao.

Also, you ever notice how characters have themes to their special moves? Everything Johnny does is green shadows, everything Liu does is dragons, Scorpion is all hellfire and a stinger, Sub-Zero has ice powers, Jax is all about his arms and his strength, etc.

Well Taven has a theme: fire moves, a gravity move (ground pound), a "light speed" move...he's all about the Sun. And Daegon follows that theme but adds in dodging and trickery because he's the evil brother. Havik has a theme, he's a corpse-man, so all his bones bend and snap to do gross-looking contortion moves. Hotaru has an insect thing going on, his name means "firefly" and he shoots some fire, he wears insect-esque armor, and he has the "grasshopper kick"...

But what the fuck are Darrius and Dairou's themes? These two's moves make no sense, there's no thought behind their designs. They just have all the random and generic leftover special moves that didn't fit anybody else. They are the landfill of Mortal Kombat.

At least if Darrius had been a Red Dragon member like in his original concept art, they could've done SOMETHING relevant with him.
P.S. that earlier comment about Shujinko being "somewhat charming" and Taven being an "unlikable cunt" is kinda funny to me, because I hate how wishy-washy and naive Shujinko was and thought Taven being a normal-acting dude who got impatient and did NOT want to do every ridiculous favor some random stranger asked from him was very refreshing.
