Scorpion and Sub-Zero as far as the colors go. The movies were made ultra cheap to cash in on the 80s craze. As terrible as they are, I'm sure they're were the inspiration for the MK ninjas came from. They wear brightly colored costumes. Check. They teleport. Check. They wield other magical powers (there are some ninjas in these movies that can shoot fire and shit and a yellow ninja does use a weapon like a spear). Check.
