Does the idea of Reiko being Shao Kahn's son seem like a good one?

I think it could give him more relevancy and give him an actual claim to the throne of Outworld. Could be someone Mileena and Kotal have to team up to take down. A better version of what happened in the MKX comic. Thoughts?

It's not that far-fetched, actually.

Shao Kahn could have tonnes of offspring he doesn't know about.

His MK9 Win pose had a thrall slave crawl to him n hug his leg. Plus the various intro lines in MK11 about slavery/breeding stock.

Does Shao get around like Genghis did?

Reiko was just a former Kahn's warrior before MK1, alongside Baraka, Reptile, Kitana/Jade/Mileena, Shang Tsung ...

he was absent in 3 first MK, to reappear in MK4 as Shinnok's servant.
