Ermac vs reptile

ok before the debating continues i will not post my opinion but i think everyone needs to know that ermac is overlooked and reptile is underlooked

i say the fight is even

They were both easter eggs in mk1(ccept ermac was a glitch)

they are both shao kahns errand boys

they both loose to the same people in mk9

ok first of all everybody thinks ermac easily wins cuz he has telekenisis but yet if the topic was scorpion vs ermac youd all be sayin scorp wud win even though he just has his spear,teleporting,hellfire. second ermac has to use concentration on his telekenisis he cant just toss you round all day otherwise hed be the best character storywise.third everybody always says he took out all of earths heros...(with the help of ghost lukang thats like the best ally ever bruce lee that cant be touched) and second they were all under mind controll which means that johnny cage cud have took them on with liu



now for reptile hes lately been viewed as a loser but notice his matchups are always against the main heroes and i dont want to talk about retard reptile in mk da cuz im basing this all around mk 3 cuz thats the new timeline anyway. first reptile is fast he could probly run at ermac before he cud focus on him and et a telekentic grip, second i wud say he's one of the best hand to hand fighters because him being a lizard man makes him naturally theltic and strong so you could look at all the ninjas fighting styles and hes the most acrobatic, third he can make his force balls either fast or slow and story wise he cn make them home onto a target. last this isnt much help but invisbilty reptile is probly the most sneakest mk character hes done tons of recon and never seen and ermac does not have spider sense so he dosent sense shit cuz again hes not the top character of the story and his telekenitc power drains him if he can tos and slam repile around then he can do it to shao kahn and onaga.


i honestly view this fight as a scorpion and sub zero fight because ive noticed that even though these two are allies story wise they both remind me f the rivalry between scorp and sub because one can teleport one can slide ones not exactly alive one is, and they were the arcade rumors of mk1

sooo.... i just thought i shud remind everybuddy that ermac isnt jesus and that reptile isnt dan from street fighter... post your opinions

Ermac wins he's Shao Kahns strongest enforcer. Meaning reptile loses. There are no ifs or buts about it.

Any character could put up a fight against Ermac; that doesn't change the fact that Ermac was able to keep at bay 5 of Earth's most powerful fighters in MK Deception (Kitana, Jax, Johnny, Sonya and Kung Lao), while Reptile has to depend on being invisible to even get the job done right. Ermac's a living force, Reptile's just a bodyguard.

His nature and abilities notwithstanding, Ermac is still a combatant as vulnerable as everyone else. I mean, fucking Stryker kicked his ass in the story for MK 2011!

All those souls simply make up for a single humanoid figure and yield it a solid, material form, as well as enormous mental abilities, but that is still not to imply Ermac has the durability or strength of thousands of warriors. If that were the case, he'd be incomparably stronger than the toughest MK bosses.

The match is draw, really... I'd call it the safest of answers.

Yeah, Stryker kicked his ass because he's a badass. People under estimate him. IMO people are all basing their opinions on mk 2011 and I can see why. I say reptile.

Storymode aside, Reptile was an elite character in MKII, and is largely based off that design in MK9

I prefer to think that any MK character could have a chance at winning against any MK character. Howvere I do think overall Ermac is probably stronger.

All of that being said, I don't think Reptile is one of the weakest characters, I find it very sad that Baraka, Sheeva, Mileena and Reptile were basically punching bags in MK9... especially considering that Sheeva killed Motaro in the first storyline, Mileena is a clone of Kitana, Baraka is the emperor's general and Reptile a high-ranked bodyguard and spy...

He is not weak, it's really up to the writers. I don't think Reptile could beat Liu Kang or Shang Tsung in fair fight but Reptile never fights fair does he?

He's all about dirty tricks and backstabbing. Because of that he could kill anyone... but not in a fair fight.

To answer your question, I would not be shocked if Reptile won a Mortal Kombat (or lost) against: Chameleon, Smoke, Cyrax, Sektor, Stryker, Kabal, Dairou, Jarek, Darrius, Mavado, Mokap, Johnny Cage, Kano, Jax, Kai, Hsu Hao, Kobra, Khameleon, Li Mei, Frost, Kira, Drahmin, Baraka, Hotaru, Havik, Moloch and maybe Skarlet.

I don't see him beat Liu Kang or a sorcerer, and in my opinion, Kenshi being blind is an advantage over Reptile's invisibility.

I'm not saying he WOULD beat them, I'm just saying I wouldn't be shocked if he won against one of them.

I think that in a fight between the two, Ermac would win. Reptile always seems to be more of a pawn for those more powerful than him, rather than a deadly force on his own. However, I personally like Reptile more than Ermac and would cheer for him if the two were to fight lol.

ermac would win since he can use magic and reptile got less cool cause in mk1 he could use scorpions and sub zeros move plus his own now the only for him to do that again u have to find the secret battle in mk9

this is old asf, but i was curious too. in my opinion Ermac would have to flee from reptile. because reptile knows he himself would win. And with Ermacs acute mental awaren ess he to would know this. Basically he would be a snack. people have no idea what reptile can even do crossing the realms, and more. thats what i think. I mean im sure reptile hardly even cares about fighting like the others, and im sure thats why he is defeated at all wich to him is like a scratch. cool post. Im sure a fly wouldnt want to battle a frog

Ermac would win.

Fighting directly isn't really Reptile's style. Reptile is basically secret service for the Outworld Empire which means he does not attack head on. He was assigned as Shang Tsung's personal body guard. Reptile is like a spy he observes from the background and reports to his masters. He is super deadly too but you'll never see it coming.

Ermac is literally the infusion of thousands of souls and can attack you from far away, has incredible martial arts skills, and can literally control living and non living objects with sheer will of thought. I think the only characters who could take on Ermac by themselves in Outworld and Earthrealm and go toe to toe are Shinnok, Shang Tsung, Quan Chi, Sindel, Shao Kahn, Nightwolf, Fujin, Raiden, and God Liu Kang. The rest would have to team up to take him on. Reptile could only stand a chance against Ermac if he had an artifact to disrupt the magic holding Ermac together or if he brought the fight to the Netheralm and let the realm itself literally disintegrate and weaken him for Reptile to get the upper hand.
