Is it me, or does Shao Kahn reminds me of Lord Zedd from Power Rangers? They do have some kind of similarities to each other, one of them being completely evil, LOL.

You could make a case Shao Kahn has a lot in common with Darth Vader, Dr. Doom, Skeletor, Sauron, and Darkseid as well.

They all fit the "Dark Overlord" archetype in some way, shape, or form.

shao kahn is so goofy looking, with the underwear and spiked shoulder pads. just the way he looks. i never really noticed it back in the day but still he is the dude i love to hate. he is badass
