MK1's music means a lot to me because my mom died while I was playing it. The character selection screen music makes me tear up every time I play it.
Umk3 means a lot to me because the first day I got it was also the day my uncle died in Guam at an air force base.
When I got MK9, my grandfather passed 4 days after.

MK: Trilogy is symbolic to me because I first played it when I was like 3 or 4 years old. I wanted to play it against my uncles and dad, but they said I couldn't beat them, 'cuz that was my first time playing it. But I still beat them, with Scorpion.
That's rough, bro.

MK is symbolic for me because it got me into games.
If it weren't for MK, I'd never have played our Snes, I'd never have been introduced to Super Mario World or Killer Instinct and I wouldn't be into games today. I probably wouldn't be as dramatic as I am with my movements either tough, so that's something. (I tend to shake my fists, juke human traffic and run like a maniac.)

It got me into video games more and it was a part of my childhood. Even though I never had a console (because parents thought it would disrupt my schoolwork), I still found opportunities to play it in arcades and at friends house.
MK also got me more into martial arts interestingly enough.

I stopped playing MK after my grandfather Tommy died. I don't want anymore family to die.
So to hold down my MK urges, I hopped on to the surprisingly entertaining Resident Evil 5.
I stick around this site because people here are friendly
And I don't feel as if I would be outcasted if I opened up to you MK die-hards because I read a thread about homosexuals here and I was shocked at how open you people are.
Stay cool, MKO community!
Sincerely,
KD1
