i think Mileena is perfect with this face.
I mean, she is sexy this way, because she hides something (for MK new-comers), when you first see her, you think "oh yeah, this should be the sexy bad-girl", than, your perform a fatality, and she reveals her true face, and you just "HOLY CRAP".
Mileena in future gams shoud never loose her mask (that thing that covers her mouth), not like scorpion lost his mask in one of the alternative costumes in DA, because it shows too much of the character, taking away the air of mistery and enygma, that are the essence of this kind of characters.

The image i posted is a page of Mortal Kombat Deception's never released comic book.

i'm not sure, but here is my explanation for your question:

remember Kitana's ending in MK Gold? Mileena fell into a trap in Edenia's throne room. She probably was inprisioned in Edenia's dungeon since that time (Shinnok's attack). Then, in Deception (the game that this comic book belongs to), with all the war Edenia passed through (i can't remember it all very well), Baraka found Mileena enchained and released her. You can see Baraka's shadow in the image, and since they "belong" to the same race (Mileena has some Tarkatan essence within her), and both of them have always been after the others but, lol, its explained why he released her. I think Baraka loves Mileena. They deserve each other.
