Mortal Kombat and Real World comparisons
*note i am not posting this thread out of any prejudice, hatred, or for any foul insult, deed, or wish, i am only curious of the perspectives of others about what i am about to discuss.
For some reason when ever i play mortal kombat particularly deceptions konquest mode, i get the feeling that some of the realms you travel to have some real world comparisons.
for example take: shao kahn and outworld, shao kahn is a conquerer and seeks to merge many and all realms with outworld, and kill anyone and anything that shows opposition to him, which seems similar to gieges kahn and the the Mongolian empire conquering many nations in Asia, Middle East, and Europe and merging them with the Mongol empire and killing off anyone who had opposed him.
another example: the Order realm (Seido) and The Resistance movement lead by Darrius, seems to mimic today's Iran. The government of Iran is not a Democratic government as is the government of the Order realm. The current Iranian government is based on and enforces Islamic law, in order to maintain Islamic order, while the Order realm(Seidan) government is based on laws that seek to preserve and maintain a strict sense of ordern and enforcing them by any means, And like the Order realm having a Resistance movement that seeks to overthrow the Seidan government, through riots, so too does Iran, having a resistance movement that causes riots and seeks for the overthrow of the Islamic government
I dont know if anyonelse gets this feeling like I do, but if you do can you please share your thoughts on this ?

Genghis KHAN was a title meaning Great Khan. The man in real life was called Temujin. Shao KAHN is the name of the conqueror in MK. Although he has more similarities with Attila than with Khan (betraying his boss, leader to take over. Attila betrayed Bleda, Shao Kahn betrayed Onaga).

Mortal Kombat, especially the way it was depicted in the movie, can be seen as an allegory for Marxism because it features the conflict between the haves (the Outworlders, who are overpowered) and the have-nots (the Earthlings, who have no powers).
interesting views, but what about the architecture styles of edenia and outworld,
does anyone know the architecture style of the Order realm and Edenia,
because there architecture doesnt look chinese or japanese, or any other oriental form of architecture like, earthrealm, outworld and netherealm ?
