In the 90s there was an animated kids show called Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realm. This show followed along with main characters like Liu Kang, Kitana, Raiden, Johnny Cage, Sonya, Knightwolf, and Jax. It's not great and has very cheesy dialogue and an incomplete story but it's still worth checking out as a fan of the series. I strongly recommend giving it a watch.
