Physical mutations in MK

In MK history it may have been more realistic if certain combatants had a more normal look to them, like Onaga and Nitara without wings, (unless they evolved into that) shokans with 2 arms (a sumo concept) and centaurs with no back legs similar to Motaro in MKA (which seemed better still taking into account that on the other hand they are their own race). Back then, in the past when they were initially introduced, MK could of come across more authentic from a personal perspective.

Well the point of MK is that it isn't realistic, to our universe at least. It's completely realistic for vampires, Dragon Kings, Shokans, Centaurs, Saurians, Tarkatans and deites to exist and fight each other in the Mortal Kombat Universe.

Understood but I use the term 'physical' because other entities apart from the shokan and centaur species are different in stature, while others still have the form of a humanoid regardless of there appearance.

Case in point: Forsaken and possessed from the various Warhammer universes. More of that grotesque. Someone resize please.

With Mileena, the theme becomes awkward because she started as identical twin, sort of anthropoid and grew into the ordinary tarkatan abnormalities. You will get natural malformations, like being from a race. Then there is fortuitous deformities like Kabal, who was once normal looking. When you look at it, mutant-like beings were and still are a major part of MK and helped make MK what it is.
