This my first post here, so bear with me. I got into mk from mk trilogy and went back and now with the hype for the 2011 game building, MK is now my drug of choice...but on to the topic.

I have always noticed similarites between some kharacters and with so many stories left undeveloped or w/ a lot of mystery in them, I cant help but spekulate that some kharacters KOULD have aliases within the game. Not saying any of these will kome true, but with the whole time travel twist to the 2011 game, and the nature of deception in MK all around, I think it would be a real kool twist to have one kharacter have an alias, as long as it does not mess up the story (which it very easily kould).

One possible occurence of this, which I really think kould make sense, is Raiden. Raiden has been around since the beginning of time, and I always felt that he kept many secrets to himself, and kind of see him as a hypokrite because of his beef w/ Shinnok being a (fallen) God and medeling with human affairs, when he does the exact same thing but is considered a 'savior' of sorts.

But another kharacter that we never actually played as could fit with Raiden: The Great Kung Lao. Kung Lao's ancestor. The hat, which looks very similar in armageddon (i know, non-can, bear with me) and I never understood exactly why Kung Lao could teleport, but maybe i missed that. Kould have inherited that trait from an interesting bloodline is all Im sayin. Would give a nice twist to the Kung Lao/Raiden/Liu Kang relationship too.

But all this is just blwoin steam, cant wait for the new game to come out. Anyone else think of any other possiblities with aliases? Shang Tsung? K/Chameleon pretending to be someone else for a long period of time? Any other thoughts? All speculation but still fun. That was alot of typing....i just tend to get carried away lol
