Here are a couple of things that confuse me and I'm hoping someone can shed a little light. Ta.

1)Here is Reptile's Bio from MK4.
A general in Shinnok's army of darkness, Reptile once belonged to an extinct race of reptilian creatures. He was banished to the Netherealm for committing genocide against several species. Responsible for the death of millions, Reptile is a dangerous ally to the forces of evil.
What species did he commit genocide against? From what I know before MK4 he was just Shao Khan's assassin hunting down Kitana. He was banished to the netherealm (where he was recuited) before Shinnoks attack on the heavens, so he must have commited genocide beforehand and as I have said he was not a general then, just an assassin. Anyway I want to know what species he wiped out?

2)It's said in MKD conquest mode that Shao Khan was once an advisar to Onaga and also the protecter of Outworld and did very much what Raiden doe's for Earth. I suppose that make him a minor God like Raiden. If Raiden is the God of thunder, then what is Shao Khan the God of? I know he can steal souls and is powerful of magic, so is he the God of magic or is he a overpowered sorcerer?

3)Also is Shinnok was a Elder God, what was he the God Of? I know it must be one of the four elements.

4)Are Jax's bionic arms replacements for his real arms or do they just cover them?

5)Is Shang Tsung from Earth or outworld? I heard that Shang Tsung is from Earth, but he sold his soul to Shao Khan for power. That's why he can fight for Outworld, but I'm not sure if this is cannon.

6)I know Rekio is obsessed with Shao Khan's helmit, but was Reiko a general in Shao Khan's army before he was defeated and then join Shinnok or was it vice versa? If he was then why was he not included in MK9?

That's all I can think of for now. Thanks and I hope someone can help.

Some good questions here. As I'm not a real MK guru, I can only help with some of them.
Here goes...

4)Are Jax's bionic arms replacements for his real arms or do they just cover them?

Going off of MK9's Jax, his arms were completely torn off (except for the bloody stumps), so it's safe to assume his arms are entirely bionic. As for his arms pre-MK9, they may have been removable prosthetics, like in MK Annihilation. :-p

In his MK3 bio, it says 'he outfitted both arms with bionic implants,' which leads me to believe he still had his arms intact, with the metal over top.

5)Is Shang Tsung from Earth or outworld? I heard that Shang Tsung is from Earth, but he sold his soul to Shao Khan for power. That's why he can fight for Outworld, but I'm not sure if this is cannon.

He was originally from Earthrealm, found a portal to Outworld, met Kahn and pledged his service to him (via selling his soul), and is now considered an Outworlder.

6)I know Rekio is obsessed with Shao Khan's helmit, but was Reiko a general in Shao Khan's army before he was defeated and then join Shinnok or was it vice versa? If he was then why was he not included in MK9?

I don't think Reiko originally worked for Shao Kahn. In his MK4 bio, it said he was killed midst the battle between Shinnok's forces (which he worked for) and the Elder Gods.

After he died, he was resurrected into the Dark Brotherhood, as he worked for Shinnok. (He probably was resurrected a little before MK4 began, to bolster Shinnok's ranks.) I assume once Shinnok was defeated, and Quan Chi was off getting hunted by Scorpion, he decided to find a new master, Shao Kahn.
Eventually, he came to envy Shao Kahn and his position, and worked his way up the ranks, conspiring to replace Kahn one day. Perhaps, he had always envied Shao Kahn, as he is an Outworlder, and would have been familiar with him.

Since he (presumably) hadn't worked for Shao Kahn at this point, and he was likely resurrected not too long before MK4 began (as he 'resurfaced'), he wouldn't have logically appeared yet. I know there's the tiny, tiny mention of Kenshi vs. Reiko during story mode, but that seems more like a little shout-out/Easter egg, like the people CSZ has in his database..

I'm pretty certain of that part.
Hope this was somewhat helpful/accurate.

1) Well Reptile has served Khan for thousands of years and probably helped him conquer some realms with his fighting skills. So I guess he would be charged with genocide by helping Khan wipe out other realms.

2) I don't think they ever official said what Khan was the god of. I like to think bunnies but that might be wrong.

3) Again I don't think they ever said what Shinok was the god of. I wouldn't assume he was an elemental god, as there are more than six elder gods, more than four elements, and Fujin, not an elder god already has the power of wind. Although it is possible that some gods can share power. I would assume that he was the God of the Dead simply because he has shown some Necromancy abilities, and he is evil. But that's just a guess. confused

Thank you's both for clearing some stuff up.
All the Reiko, Shinnok (being the god of Death) and Reptile suggestions make sence, but I would love to know the true cannon relating to these questions. If it's ever known, let me know. Ta. tongue

This is just a personal theory, but I like to think Kahn was the God of War because Khameleon's bio in Armageddon suggested that he literally grows stronger from even just being around battle and conquest, like he feeds off it somehow. They've never officially said what he's the god of, though. I don't think they ever decided, because I asked Vogel straight up on Twitter once, and he responded with a joke that he's "the god of meanness".

As for Reiko, his story is that he used to be the General of Kahn's army long before MK1 but he died. He went to Hell and was made the general of Shinnok's army because, y'know, Shinnok has only dead people and demons to work with and he's famous as a general, so he must be good at it. Then, during MK4, he ran away in the middle of the battle when it became obvious Shinnok was going to lose and he didn't want to be sent back to Hell, so he went into hiding and didn't re-emerge until Armageddon, where he regained his original position with Kahn.

That line in his MK4 bio about him being killed in battle with the Elder Gods only to mysteriously return is referring to a battle that happens DURING MK4, it's meant to illustrate how Shinnok's warriors are undead and he can bring them back after they're killed again and again.

One thing that I don't get is the consistancy with Kitana's hair. I know it's only a small detail, but in MK 2-3 it was shoulder length. Then by MKDA it had grown to floor length. Surely it would take longer than 10 years for it to grow that much?

Then in Ermac and Sindel's MKD endings she had hair around neck length, and by MKA it was back to floor length. So is the cut during MKD cannon?

Then in MK9 it was waist length. Is this a ret-con or does the MK2 style still count as it was used for DLC?

Many thanks.

Well, first-of-all, the hair length is a design choice, so the artists can change it whenever they want to, regardless of continuity.

Just in terms of her being an Edenian (and some weird genetics and hormones), her hair may grow very rapidly.
Sindel can physically control her hair's movement as well as its length, so that may explain it.

As for how Kitana's hair appears in both Ermac and Sindel's Deception endings, I guess it's safe to assume either 1) her physical appearance is non-canon or 2) she grew her hair back in a few months or so before Armageddon began.
Perhaps why her hair is so much shorter in those endings, is possibly because her hair got slashed up by the Tarkatans that killed her, or the designers wanted to make the resemblance between her and Mileena even greater. (It is odd only she got new clothes and a haircut after dying. Eye candy for Onaga?)

I assume some costumes, themselves, are non-canon or are just for nostalgia's sake.
If all those costumes are canon, the fighters must smell horrific. All that blood and sweat, not to mention a good deal of them died (or nearly died) in outfits they were currently wearing.
