Some of your info is wrong too.. He didn't appear as a glitch in mk3. He appeared as a glitch in MK1.. He first appeared as an actual character in UMK3.

yes hes right. mkt isn actually um canon. its a collaboration of all the characters in the mk3 story line basically just mk3 with noob rain and baraka as playable characters.

and you must not know much about him. ermac is a collection of souls created by shang sung to well you know serve shao kahn. in i believe DA kenshi came in and freed him from shao kahn.

ermac has apeared in a low amount of games umk3, mkt, mkd not counting shaolin monks then armegedon had all characters and this time around nether realms put all our fan favorits in MORTAL KOMBAT 2011.

ermac has several ability involving telepathic and levitating powers through the souls he gathers. he can also teleport and i think he can fly.

Ermac was never created by Shang Tsung. Kahn himself made Ermac, as well as Scarlet.

And this is his ending in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3:
"Having been in hiding since the first Mortal Kombat, neither the Earth nor the Outworld warriors has recognized this elusive ninja. Ermac uses his victory in the tournament to prove his existence... As well as a warning that he will return as an unstoppable force in the fourth Mortal Kombat."

Doesn't really tell me that he freed himself from Kahn's grasp, only to show off that he's a powerful entity that will come out showing how deadly of a creature he really is.

Besides, I think this is a cute thread. Ermac is a cool character that I would like to see return for the next game.

Mr carter, kid, word of advice dont publicize your age on a thread like this sometimes trolls come over and can be complete assholes. Luckily no one has said anything bad just some corrections on your mistakes but do a bit more research play some more of the games to get your facts straight before you post, just to avoid any issues. Anyway on with the thread, i like ermac and I'd love to see where NRS takes him now. I hope they don't make him a gateway for the dead cause that's too damn easy, I say if he's going to do any switch at least make him neutral before going full on good guy. He is a force to be reckoned with and his allegiance lies only to Kahn. I say this Jerrod storyline is good, but maybe add a power struggle. With no orders to follow all the souls are fighting for control and Ermac can't get a grip. He slowly starts going crazy and brutal before Kenshi and Jerrod help him go good guy. O ce good guy I say make it more gray. Not outright follow the rules good guy. But good guy but I'll still kill type of good guy.

Actually, he wasn't a glitch at all (or atleast was confirmed to be), he was just a rumor stemming from Error Macro, which was an internal error within the first MK. People thought you could play as him using a glitch, but that remains to be confirmed.

I know how to get to Ermac in Mortal Kombat 1,i have seen him in a Magazine before and he is real....how you get to him is you have to get a double flawless victory on the Hall of Champions "the level before the Pit stage"and each round you have to make sure your opponent lands in the circle under Goro...if you can do this you will see him source EGM 1992 good luck, i have never got to him.

Ermac is a character that you can fight in MK1,i saw the photo in 1992,it would be pretty difficult to fake a photo that was taken in 1992,there was no Photo Shop,I could be wrong though, because there could have been other editing programs.

In the alternate timeline, Ermac was "born" with his telekinetic powers.

Submarine1...There is no ermac in MK1. It was just a recolored sprite, which can be done quite easily, even back then. Also, it is Shang Tsung, and always has been.

What in the world are you talking about? He wasn't a character that you can fight. He was a rumored glitch, never playable nor was he a NPF (Non-Playable Fighter). It was all speculation until UMK3 when the creators gave what the fans wanted..

In the timeline that MK2011 has, in his biography it's said that: "As punishment for resisting Shao Kahn’s claim to the realm of Edenia, the souls of the vanquished were torn from their bodies and fused together to form the being now known as Ermac." So I have no idea what you've been reading but neither of your claims are right.

As for the whole "Shang T Sung" claim, if he was originally going to be called that, okay... So then in your case, I should be allowed to call Sektor, Ketchup and Cyrax, Mustard then. Don't call characters by names that isn't theirs. He's Shang Tsung, not Shang T Sung.
