So while in the abyss that is Wikipedia (am I the only one who researches random stuff and then 20 clicks later forgets what brought me there in the first place?) I was reading Johnny Cage's page and saw how he ranked #11 out of the top 50 MK characters of all time (according to the writers of the article) ... So I clicked the link to see where Kitana ranked as I'm pretty (as it's well known) bias on her behalf. As I went through the mix and ranks I was stunned ... Not only because Kitana ranked so low (surely I think that's dead wrong) but because I saw so many characters that in my opinion are as awesome as Kitana also ranked low compared to other higher ranking characters. (for example Meat).

I was just curious as to your thoughts on the rankings. Surely we all have our favorites and that's understandable, but I just don't see how it was a reasonable reference to MK's characters and their popularity/role in the game's story.

While I should note that this article is over a year old and was completed before the newest MK game, that doesn't change my feelings on it ... do you think the rankings were accurate or just one person's opinions. I'll provide the link to #50 and you just need to click through to see the rest. :)
