Simple, who is fighting for the wrong agenda. Can be based on appearance, gameplay style, or character history.

I'll start:Kabal. I love this guy, his hookswords are freakin' awesome, but I really think he's better off as a good guy, like in MK3. Too bad Mavado came in and nearly killed him, which meant Havik could turn him to evil. Jackasses.

Well, if Reptile's MKA ending is canon, we might see him switch allegeinces. Would be an interesting change of pace for him.

Killing in and of itself is not good or evil but a neutral action.

Regardless of alignment, all fighters will kill for a personal reason including Self Defense,defense of others, bloodlust, or the voices in their head telling them to kill.

Canon wise, I wish that were elaborated on more.

I never seen the Shaolin Monks (Liu Kang, Kung Lao and Kai), Nightwolf, or Sub-Zero (current) as killers unless last resort.

While ones like the Special Forces (Jax, Sonya, Cyrax), Stryker and maybe Jade kill, but it’s a career of tracking down criminals or “bad guys”.

The rest of the good guys falling somewhere inbetween and then there’s Scorpion...

Reptile: I don't care if he's evil, neutral, or good, just so long as he ditches Shao Kahn. Honestly, doesn't this guy ever get tired of licking his boots?
