I would like to make here some sort of compendium of the best ways to finish with characters, and what strategies doesn't work against them.

That is:

Wich characters can be beaten using aerial moves? Wich ones will stomp you if you jump near them?

Who are the best ones to maintain a projectile war? Wich ones are doomed when they are at max. distance from a foe?

Who should fear teleporters the most? And zoners?

What strategies shouldn't be considered against some characters?

I will edit the OP with the opinions from this thread when we have enough info compiled :)

When fighting against smoke. Allways use high block.
There is no combo opener for smoke which is low.
So use high block only and no combo's will land

I'll make a quick comment on the projectile war part. Best guys are Reptile, has 6 different ones (if you count ex-versions), all moving at different speed making them hard to negotiate plus keep in mind you cannot just stand and block because he will dash in and throw you.

Kitana, Just the fact she throws two fans at once makes her hard. Also the fact her air fan "freezes" you up there while it hits, giving her great opportunities to set up.

Shang Tsung: What is there to say? He has about 100000 projectiles and they lead to high damage, unbreakable combos.

Kabal: High and low. Low knocks you down allowing him to pressure you. His IA gasballs can be done rapidly and whenever one hits you in the air he can dash and catch you spinning on your way down.

Kung Lao: also low and high. Can maneuver hat in air.

Kano: Fast and powerfull. Quick recovery.

Might have missed someone...oh well.
