I hope I didn't miss your matches

How did it go?


I went through the archived footage using the "skip&play" method to see if your matches were on the stream and I couldn't find you. There's ~ 9h of footage though, so maybe I missed it.

There were some great players there: Tyrant, XBlades, Krayzie, OnlineTony, DJT, ...


I saw Flawedzilla (N. Saibot) vs Red Reaper (Sektor), very entertaining and close match. Also saw some of OnlineTony's matches, it's good to see him again (at least I haven't seen him in a while). Tyrant & XBlades were as good as always and PBoard Player did well too, finished 2nd [EDIT: wrong].

The tournament was great, but I couldn't find you

Jokes aside, I thought I did pretty decent seeing as how this was my first time playing someone offline and the fact I had to use a PS3 controller. The SoCal fellas, being the nice people that they are, definately were proud of my result especially since this was my first tourney. It definately helped having the same result as Twisted and Brownie. (I'm pretty sure those guys ended up 2-2)

I lost to XBlades (so sad) and some Kung Lao player (so mad). The first loss was pretty bad. I think I did win one round though. The second loss with the Kung Lao player was half skill, half luck. Pretty bold thing to say from a newcomer but I know that I would body that guy if I was used to no-delay.

I wasn't on stream along with alot of other people. We had 44 people show up to this thing. It was pretty huge for a local. I think SCR had 50 and that was a major. Even Aris was there! Playing Soul Caliber...

So now I'm just training exclusively offline until next month.

And another thing, do you guys see my name as TOE-THARKS? RED and Krayzie kept calling me that lol.

I just used Mileena. Despite what my sig shows, I only know how to play as Scorpion and Mileena. Kitana's just in for looks.

LOL, I always saw it as tot-heark.


2-2 is not bad at all, especially if one of those defeats came from fighting XBlades, who's one of the best West Coast players.

If you got Mileena's match-ups down, then yes, it might be a good idea to stay away from online.
