How can we critique if you let us win, surely you'd need to fight as you do normally so we can critique you properly.

That's what I plan on doing. I will try to beat you...I'll try my best. If you beat me (which you probably will), I want you to tell me why.

however if you are looking for gameplay help, i suggest the Testyourmight.com forums. They helped me alot. But honestly don't let your record in PLAYER matches get you down, A pet peeve of mine for this game is just that, people flaunt their player match records.grats! go play ranked then lol.

Easy way to get good is practice mode. Try linking combos with special moves, see which match and which don't. Tylerlantern on youtube is a beast, you can look at the combos he does and try to master them.

A lot of the game is anticipation. Reading your opponent and knowing when to be defensive and aggressive. If youtube mk tournaments, you can watch and learn from some ridiculously good players.

Practice mode is how I got pretty good. Master combos and take the skills online! Good luck!

Practise a lot and try to beat ladder on expert...this way you will find which characters you are best with. You can also try out some basic and more advanced combos so when you get a chance to punish your opponent online, you'll be able to pull them off effortlessly. Another mistake noobs do is not block...you might wanna try it out :P
I main Mileena. I know about 4-5 combos with her and all of her high and low attacks. When an opponent makes a mistake I punish with a combo...when an opponent likes to block a lot I try to confuse them with high and low attacks. For example if they block I use a low attack B3,B4 or if they crouch block I use high attacks B1,4 or U4 which can lead to a big combo. That's my general strategy...dunno if it helps at all :P
