Ideas for MK9 tournament?

Welcome to MKO! 
Well, since it's a friendly tourney you can do it however you like man. You might even wanna try a TestYourLuck or a tag-team tourney, that might be crazy fun. If you want to do a classic tournament, then I suggest making it a double bracket type- winners & losers. This way anyone who loses their 1st match won't have to sit and watch for the rest of the tournament, they'll get to play at least one more match. I suggest best 2 out of 3 match-up format.

Sounds good, I would make winners and losers finals best 3 out of 5.
Winners + losers brackets will keep everyone engaged more too.
Make sure you've got plenty of snacks, get the good stuff lol.
Maybe if it's all even have a tag team tournament on the side as well.
Test your luck would be tight for a friendly tournament, I've played it a couple times with my bro and stuff, so much fun.
The trophy idea is really awesome too, it makes me wish my friends played MK, I would love to do a big tournament where everyone comes over to throw down, have som snacks, laugh, etc.

Here's the trophy thus far. Sorry for such a large image. It will be attached to a base that will look like stone, be covered in moss, and have holes in the back to allow incense to flow out. The medal is not finished... still need to detail it, but so far so good.
