I went through a lot of since MK2011 was released. Finally on top of life and got the PS4 and Motal Kombat XL. So is this forum still alive and what's happening?

No where near the golden days of the PS2 era... not even close... not... one... bit.

MKX is, as far as i know, still going strong. Plenty of people online if you're into that, and lots of modes to keep one entertained.
This forum, however, is not just dead. It's a victim of it's own love of fatalities. You remember the scene at the beginning of MK9? All the dead kombatants around the pyramid sliced in half and whatnot. That's the perfect metaphor for how dead this place is. Just a few (creepy four-eyed) vultures picking at scraps of tidbits, waiting for the Eyebrows' next trolling tease.

which begs the question: where the hell did every1 venture off to?
Good to have you back. The forum is all quiet now as MKX has been out over a year. Others than the roster definitely the best MK game yet! I am still loving the game and living all the extras the developers gave us for free! The game shipped without pit fatalities my only real gripe with the experience but they listened to us and gave us stage fatalities patched in for free not too mention all the Brutalities they have snuck in since Launch. Hit me up if u wanna play for fun I am no expert player but understand the systems well enough. PSN BADBILXII

They all went to TESTYOURMIGHT.com because it's where the big name tournament players post, and it has a consideraby more competitive tone to. Personally I like the niche crowd here better.
My PSN Tag is ZeroSymbolic7188 just like it is here, sometimes my fiance plays under the account.

testyourmight is indeed more populated than here. I know pretty much all the personalities of MKO and how they behave in their posts, so that says a lot :P
I used to visit here a lot but since it's kinda dry I moved to TYM, but I go here now and then to see how people reacted to MK11 news
